I do page layouts in Photoshop. The only reason why I do is cause I don't have InDesign and Quark sucks donkey balls.

But anyway I use photoshop mainly for textures for either lightwave, maya or Cinema 4d. I also use it to make pages for dreamweaver.

I havent made anything really good in a long time. I just do touchups n stuff. But here are some things i made a while ago.

Just stupid stuff.

dont fool yourself. that be good shit.

I might be good at removing logos, but as for the stuff you just showed....

I wouldnt even know where to begin

Posted by Tranc3 on Mar-10-2004 23:55:

Got a bio test coming up tomorrow, so I gotta study today, but I'll post my first removal work tomorrow, just something I did back in 9th grade. I've lost the files since then, but I have a hard copy of the modified version, so I'll scan that in and screencapture the original.

Been using photoshop for about 8 years or so along with most major graphics programs and some 3D. Actually have a degree in computer design. Dont have time to just screw around in it much anymore though since I do mostly business work now.

Here is something I believe i did back in 1999 or so. I always liked it for some reason. Created in photoshop 5 or 6 i think, whatever was around back then

heres a photochop i did for some nissan enthusiasts that i like.

Photoshop is as big, or as small, as your imagination. That is all.

I love looking at all these PS hacks and originals.

There are some talented mofo's on TA.

Im technical and not very artistically inclined.
My brother got that 1/2 of the brain.
Ill format the hell out of your HD though.

Find it very hard to believe that you did that entirely in photoshop

Posted by magnasoma on Mar-11-2004 22:45:

Well i didn't make the building in photoshop - its photographs of the Citypoint building in Moorgate, London, chopped up, graded and re-assembled. And the root structures underneath are from 3DStudio.

But then i don't think Aria Giovanni was made in Photoshop either.

do you create the roots using some sort of fractal technique or do you draw them all manually. ive started to mess about with 3d studia and it takes to ages to get anything of decent detail...

Posted by NeoPhono on Mar-11-2004 22:49:

This is some imaging I did for NASA, in the initial stages of creating a next generation Mars rover.

No need to congratulate me, I know you're all astonished.

Posted by magnasoma on Mar-11-2004 22:52:

Ste, the roots were done by a friend of mine - www.renascent.nl - they are a fractal growth (plugin) i believe.

I haven't touched 3D since Lightwave 3D at Uni.

thought as much. my course is gonan involve 3d max but animating shit like finding nemo style.

but i liek to use it for gfx more, or would when i get the hang of it. used to play around with truespace 3 years ago (dunno if u have heard of it)

know where i could get a fractal plugin from anyway? or any graphical plugins for 3d max?

Posted by magnasoma on Mar-11-2004 23:06:

Yeah i played with Truespace for a while. If you're going into character animation or general animation you're best bet is Maya or Softimage|3D but the software is very expensive, so the uni will be unlikely to have it.

Not sure about plugins for max - best person to ask is chris - msn him sometime.
