Where can I listen to UKTA Radio?

there is usually a thread created in this forum, look out for it on mondays with the line-up and links added nearer the start. it usually starts around 7pm

i will play some time......just gimme time to grow out of my lazy phase and get a new set of speakers in a few weeks.

remember any style goes really, we'll fit it in the appropriate placing, so proggier first, then trance, then harder/techno and my odd psy efforts last of all when most ppl have something better to do

streaming live is an option, but obv some people are on 56k still so are unable to do so, plus sometimes we have to record a set cos we won't be in in time to play live or something, for those who don't usually come in the chat with us tho, it'd prob be easier to either join now or send a cd

a couple of obsticles to overcome first... 1) need more blank cd's 2) need to borrow some sort of recording device again, as whenever i hook up my comp to my mixer it buzzes like a cunt :/

if people have a shit connection they send us an mp3 or cd. but otherwise people play live.

How do i send the mix over?

Is there an ftp or an address to post it to? Also how do i go about playing live? How do i get dates booked in etc...

if you send mike a pm, we can probably arrange it to be sent either to luke or ste's ftp if they're up, or via a program like mirc or msn if needed. To play live you have to have shoutcast set up on your winamp, and obv cables running through line in, then stream over that way, though a good broadband connection with 30kb/s upload is necessary to go live, then we'd give you the server details and you could connect at the given time. Any way at the moment is good, it's good for us to have lots of sets coming in, but since Mikes very interested here (DRM being mike btw lol) I'll let him sort this out with ya

If someone can hook me up on msn at [email protected] that would be good for me to send a mix over.

Streaming live is not a problem as i have streamed at 128k to after hours djs before now using shoutcast dsp. Once i have the details of how to connect to the server can you connect anytime there is no live stream or what?

Sorry is there a faq page somewhere?

to anyone else: it would be better if u could post a typical tracklist of urself if u wanna, perhaps a t/l of am latest mix uve done so we can then check it out too.

I'd like to do it. Probably have to be a cd or mp3 from me though. No broadband at home.
