finally about time to upgrade for u, i feel ur pain cuz i've used those numarks and i know what theyre made out of. i hate the platter with a passion. so now u have newer equpiment, u go NO execuse of not making a set a day .

About the camera though...I really want a digital SLR as well and I'm wondering if it drives you insane brigning and SLR to a club...cause let's face it...it's big and heavy (comparatively)

lol sorry Sarah, that's still a wiked set of decks!! Congrats again! If I were you I'd probably end up waking up at night and jsut going to take a sneak peak at them lol probably end up "spinning" and so on till morning! (Thats how'd be with the camera anyway, minus the spinning part ) Its funny how an inanimate object can stir such passions.

I think I can see the cables and they don't look like they're XLR - so I'm guessing they're passive.

You know what, I have no idea what they are.

Right now it's all running through a home stereo as an amp! So those are the speakers that came with the home stereo!

They are clear enough for a 2 deck mix, but with 3 it's noticeably more messy. (or maybe that was my mixing?? )

And yes, there will sort of be a wherkin pt. 2...I think I will put together one mix strictly funkier stuff, and one strictly chill/tech-housey/more minimal.
