Looking at this you think "WOW, it must be a great club!" , but when you go there you are like: "Oh man, what a shithole!". And to j_spot and mmmyummybacardi, if all the people who don't like the place stoped going there you will be dancing between yourselfs. Just ask all your friends whether they like it or not. We are not going to stop attending the place, but we are going to continue bitching about it!

Quite the comparison...Warehouse and Amnesia....thanks for the post...it made me laugh.

In all honesty....with some renos....an Aria main room vs. Warehouse comparison could be imaginable. Just need some lights and upgrades to the DJ booth.

theres tons of people in calgary that love the warehouse, why do you think its one of the longest running clubs if not the longest in the city? go with a good group of friends and enjoy the music and you'll have a great time, but you just seem plain ignorant so do everyone a favour and stay at the whiskey for your one show every few months thats always a guaranteed sausage fest

It may be dirty, but when's the last time you came home from a party and didn't need to shower?

I go there to dance, not to eat off the floors.

It would totally change the vibe if they renovated. By adding more lights, leather seats, and oak trim you also end up adding idiot 'bar star' people who are there only to do three things: 1. get wasted 2. get laid 3. get in a fight. Sound familiar? That's like every other club in the city.

I miss the old Den. I can't stand going there anymore. It just seems wrong.

I think what people keep forgetting is that the Warehouse isn't just a "rave" club. They do have other nights going on. If they were to do reno's and make is look more like a place such as Mynt they'd lose many of there current clientel. I know I for one probably wouldn't go very often if it was some preppy looking place.

I bet the goths are still mad that the cage and cave is gone.

and if youve been going for awhile, you would realize that the place has cleaned up alot, and done tonnes of renos.

Whoa seems to be a touchy subject, here in c-town. Sure everyone has there bitches and everyone has there compliments on the warehouse but i say fuck it they are brining some sweet as music and imma try to go to the ones that inrest me, isnt that what its all about ne wayz?? We live in calgary we have all been there and we will all go again we really dony have an option.

so your saying that if the club became nicer you would'nt go there anymore? that barstar chachi's will all of a sudden take it over? thats pretty far out, people go there now for the music, if the club we're to become nicer, alot more people who like the music but only go to wednesday night shows would show up alot more often because they have somewhere decent to go and dance w/o going to a top 40 bar. i also know the place will never get anything done to it, so this really is a pointless thread.
