Agreed! They should atleast make it sound good like the Robotic Vocals in Console - 14 Zero Zero or Tomcraft - Overdose, now those are much better IMO.

He's just selling out, thats all.

WTF, as if he is selling out, he is totally changing his style, unlike the regulars

Arrested for having a cat, arrested for not having, as they say around here

I think you're right! People don't know what they want, nowadays! They're always complaining that the newest tunes sound all the same but when someone goes into another direction...

My thoughts exactly. Whatever and Show your style on that CD are just bad. I do agree with Right of Way. I like that track, but Kyoto and Star Traveler are by far the best tracks on there. I dont know, I guess it all comes down to opinion.

Ferry new sound kicks ass! Its better than the cookie cutter trance crap we've been hearing for the last 4 years. The same shit over and over. Ferry's trying something new and its awesome. His new stuff sounds unique and are great on the dance floor.

How can you say Ferry Corsten's past productions were cookie cutter Trance? He created some of the most classic Trance tunes under many alias like System F,Moonman & when he produced with DJ Tiesto as Gouryella.

Unless you just meant Trance in general.

I absolutely love his new electro stuff..

As long as he keeps playing the uplifting sounds which he is the king for with it then its all good

Ferry Corsten has the Right Of Way to do whatever the hell he wants... its all good, not to mention, "right of way"

Ferry is not the future. I would say what the future was.. but i'm in fear of being flamed.

Posted by The_One on Mar-31-2004 04:34:

Ferry understands that both an artist and his music must evolve. Innovation and Evolution are critical to discover "the next big sound". I for one I'm happy he is experimenting with his sound.

I personally love Ferry's sound, because its unique and no one else has his style. I don't believe it's a style that can be viable to the scene if everyone starts playing it...and I think it'll just stick to Ferry.

The future is being brought to us with the likes of Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Markus Schulz, Filo & Peri, Armin's latest productions, etc...

But people will go to Ferry because his sound is driving and unique. Much like how people go see PvD because his sound is very unique.

Ferry is unquestionably important in the worldwide trance scene. When he talks -- or makes music, people will listen to what he has to say. He has that significant voice.

Maybe him and Daft Punk will collab Haha... it's good, fun music. "Rock Your Body Rock" may not be a philosophy lesson but who cares, it's a party record and it's catchy.

I honestly can't say I enjoyed the album on the whole like some people have, but I respect Ferry Corsten for what he has done.

ferry plays a lot more varied nwo than he used to which i think is great. however im not too keen on his insistance of playing rybr which is a pile of chedder to me, i cant dance to it and it just sounds so pants in a club. he shud just play the f massif remix.

Yeah, I agree there ste

The whole point is that ferry isn't just following the forumula of shitness that armins releasing on armada so often, tracks which are boring me shitless, with no real thought into a lot of them. If you don't like ferrys new style, simple, don't listen to it, he still manages to please me after 7 years and that's good enough for me. Sure he put some filler on his album but everyone did, can you honestly tell me armins album was 100x better and had no filler, or tiesto's or markus mix compilation ? Doubt it.

Keep it up ferry

i kind of agree, i dont like the sound too much either

Posted by Slade on Mar-31-2004 15:03:

Ferry = Benny Bennasi of Trance

that is all.

Posted by afastest on Mar-31-2004 15:31:

i dont quite like this new sound, but sticking to old supersaw isnt better either. somehow maybe it might work, but not like in rock your body. right of way is a bit better.

I will agree, the more i listen to it, the more i love it. My freinds that hate trance and dance music period enjoy it too. However, do u think it beats armin's "burning with desire"....?
