Spot on. I haven't heard anyone calling for withdrawal who wasn't before, though. I'd be very much opposed to withdrawal at this point, for the very reason you just pointed out.

I done agree with the attacks but the Americans have a history of throwing their weight around, Vietnam, Somalia, the muslims often see America as teh great christian occupier no matter what it's true intentions are.

Get the westrenised Iraqi government in power & wait for the people to reject that for another Islamic fundamentalist state. You read the future here first folks.
