I'm more than happy to blame John Howard for most things, but unfortunately liquor licensing laws are State laws.

So separate church and state Bob Carr you teetotalling asshat

Friday: Yearly tradition of getting pissed (alot) on randomly made shooters (with no particular name / style, just potent) and playing Super Golf (Golf, with oversized balls and clubs) in that order.

Saturday Night: Old skool sessions .. old hardcore, loud, zimmerframes allround

Sunday Day: Making Lanithium nervous about his gig that night

Sunday Night: MOS Hard NRG - Taking photos for ITM etc.

Monday Day: Who knows, follow the non-gurn... (i'd say follow the gurn, but i can't because i don't)!

Heading to a mates place out on the coast (of Victoria that is) for a weekend of drinking, loud music and lost memories.

Beach soccer and cricket will also be involved.

For the Uni break, I'll be playing catch up with all my subjects. Bring it.

Re: Re: Re: So what is everyone getting up to this Long Weekend?

I've got free entry to Bliss: The Pioneers Of (psy) Trance tour, at the Civic Hotel on sunday night. Anyone with an ITM VIP card can get in for free here, just have to RSVP on the website.

Muli you should consider this since you're a VIP also

Posted by webmeister on Apr-06-2004 23:02:

Saw that tour the other day Hugo, looks quite interesting (though I'm not an ITM-VIP )

Posted by muli on Apr-07-2004 01:30:

I recommend you get a VIP card Joel, only costs $50 or so for 1 year and you get discounts at record stores, equipment stores and various club nights like SweetChilli. You'll end up saving a lot more over the course of 1 year than the $50 you spent.

Some nightclubs will be open, but crowds are always non-existent and no alcohol sales basically means no revenue = no point staying open...

Sorry but i just had to point out the irony of this statement! Complaining about laws regarding religious beliefs (ie no sale of alcohol on good friday) when your talking about a PUBLIC holiday COMPLETELY based around a religious belief (Easter anybody?).....

Tathi are you american???

Greenwood on Thursday night was bloody packed and we couldn't get in cos the line was massive and they stopped letting people in.

So we returned to Town Hall for a night of drinking and shenanigans that ended up in Star City casino at 6AM, watching darts on the big , drinking bourbon and cokes.....messy night for me.
