-- Sasha & Digweed - Northern Exposure 4
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
I like the post Digweed direction Sasha has taken. I wish it would continue.
There is no chance of a "Northern Exposure 4." They have both said this multiple times.
However, they will most likely collaborate on another compilation because of the huge demand.
They do both have individual stuff coming out in a few months I suppose. Digweed has got a mix cd and Sasha will have Involver 2.
Don't forget to pick up the ten year anniversary edition of Renaissance: The Mix Collection out now in the UK. Total class

Originally posted by Torley Wong Sasha and Digweed should become enemies in a publicity stunt, and bitter rivals, throwing discarded bits of "golden age" trance records at each other -- ouch, those sharp vinyl edges! And then, after crossed arms and wearing headphones (to drown out each others' voices), they hug and make up and release Northern Exposure IV. Actually, no. I'm not for such theatrics. But it works for rock and rap stars. ![]() (STRICTLY kidding)

Originally posted by torontotrance I always viewed it as some prog song....all the sudden it fades out and you hear the riff from heaven scent...crowd goes mental....digweed has this smirk on his face....sasha is giddy and laughing...it fades out....dead silence...the opening minute of xpander comes in...in the background.....then sasha brings it in during the riff when it starts....crowd realizes and roars...utter chaos in the venue. By that time..i've lost my mind.

Originally posted by Shook1 I cant recall quote for quote.....but basically it talked about the process in which Sasha used to make the Involver CD (production process) and he was talking about how he loved the idea of taking apart different artists' tracks and making his own reconstructions out of those pieces & making something new from it..... ...then the mag asked Sasha if he has a new 'artist' album coming out or planned for the future and he said he didnt have anything planned but that he's already started working on a new installment of the Involver series....... So we'll see what happens & again.....dont quote me word for word.

heaven scent is good, but over rated. set in stone & beautiful strange are both supperior.
I read from a recent Sasha interview that Digweed and him aren't likely to work on a new compilation in any time soon provided that Sasha's been working mostly in the US whereas Digweed is mostly in the UK.
Besides living on different time zones, they are both very busy running their respective companies (Bedrock and Excession), thus working on another compilation would not be in the near horizon.
