SNOW

btw - you can be circumsized accidently, when you'r with a girl for eg. right?? (its not comun but it can happen) ... and that must be much more painfull than having that done b4 by a professional .

correct me if i'm wrong

I am, and I've yet to find a reason why it would be better not to be. Infants and children who are uncircumcised are much more likey to develop infection, as are the elderly. For men our age it really doesn't matter, but at either end of life there are marked advantages to not having a foreskin.

Then there's also phimosis, paraphimosis, balantitis, balanoposthitis, frenular chordee and the associated psychological sequelae that I will never have to worry about.

Some fun facts:
-95% of urinary tract infections in young boys happen in the uncircumcised.
-Uncircumcised men have 9 times the risk of aquiring syphilis, 3 times the risk of gonorrhea and 2 times the risk of aquiring herpes from an infected partner.
-The risk of an uncircumcised man getting penile cancer is 1 in 50,000. For a circumcised man that risk is 1 in 12,000,000.
-Uncircumcised men have twice the rate of prostate cancer.

I could go on and on...if you want to look it up. Go here.

A lot of the research into complications and infections was done and redone and in the end, the APA says that as far as costs and benefits to the child, they both tend to even out.

As for the prostate cancer, that's controversial. Penile cancer is so rare it doesn't really matter anyway.

I know someone with phimosis too, and he's yet to have a problem with infection or sex or anything in his whole life.

What I'm surprised they didn't mention is HIV, which your likeliness of getting is reduced several fold...but why are you having unsafe sex anyway? Edit: ah wait, they did

Thread's been done to death though...I think it should be up to the adult male later in his life if he wants to get circumcised or not, when he can sit and think things through and decide if he wants it.

Hell no.

Circumcision should be banned, except for religious purposes.

Uncircumcised cock is way better for both the guy and the girl.

Posted by ShadoWolf on Apr-09-2004 16:03:

The gliding mechanism

During intercourse the loose skin of the intact penis slides up and down the shaft of the penis, stimulating the glans and the sensitive erogenous receptors of the foreskin itself. On the outstroke the glans is partially or completely engulfed by the foreskin. This is known as the `gliding mechanism.'

The gliding mechanism is Nature's intended mechanism of intercourse. As such, it contributes greatly to sexual pleasure. Also, since more of the loose skin of the penis remains inside the vagina, the woman's natural lubrication is not drawn out to evaporate to a great extent, which makes sex easier without using artificial lubricants.

The prepuce is a highly innervated and vascularized genital structure. It is entirely lined with the peripenic muscle sheet. Specialized ecoptic sebaceous glans on the inner preputial surface produce natural emollients and lubricants necessary for normal sexual function. The primary orgasmic triggers are found in the preputial orifice and frenulum. When unfolded, the prepuce is large enough to cover the length and circumference of the erect penis and acts as a natural sheath through which the shaft glides during coitus. Only the presence and functions of the prepuce allow for physiologically normal coitus to occur as designed by nature.

On the contrary, you're on your way to becoming a Jedi-Pleasure Master. Knowledge of female anatomy is just the first step.

Actually, it's called the cervix...the entrance to the uterus.

actually, that's what i was thinking too.

isn't it a bad idea for a penis to hit against the uterus? it's not pleasant, i thought

If it's long enough it may bump it, but I'm pretty sure that isn't dangerous.

but does it hurt a lot?

according to ShadoWolf's so anatomically correct picture, it doesn't take a long penis to bump against it
