I will never EVER rip or do anything to contribute to illegal filesharing. It would put my reputation amongst all the PR agents, labels, and artists who priviledge me with their upfront music in jeopardy.

Here is the tracklist:
Album Title: JUST BE

1. Forever Today
2. Love Comes Again
3. Traffic
4. Sweet Misery
5. Nyana
6. UR < BEST TRACK ON THERE!
7. Walking on Clouds
8. Just Be
9. Adagio for Strings

*smells a cheap william orbit remix*

Posted by Spective on Apr-13-2004 01:01:

^ It really is. Its awful. The original never needed to be remix. I hate when people try remixing classics.

doesn't have anything to do with William Orbit's version. He uses the main Barber melody and does not use WO's synths or any of his samples. It's a techy take on the melody, much more faithful to the original Barber piece than Ferry Corsten's remix in terms of mood and ambiance. Great quality of production too. and extremely effective in the dancefloor as well, which is all that matters.

Spective, can you write which tracks were co-produced with whom?

Nyana! omg this is fucking good news!!!!

I thought there were 10 tracks? isn't there a tune called A Tear In The Open? The album is unmixed right?

I sure hope so, that's how I would like it.

Posted by Spective on Apr-13-2004 01:25:

Its unmixed. IT may have 10 tracks because sometimes press promos dont have the full tracklisting in order to generate anticipation for the full release just in case it does get ripped to the net.

HOwever, this PR agency has always given me full versions of their releases.

Thumbs up

I really love the opening orchestra symphony that he uses to start off this track. HOwever it suddenly morphs into tech-trance. It would make a crowd go nuts, but to sit there and listen to it just doesnt work.

Posted by Spective on Apr-13-2004 01:48:

Ok Ive confirmed that it is a 9 track album. There is an apparently a bonus track as well. I am not sure though if it is available on the USA version. I know for sure its on the UK version

SWIM found a rip of Love comes again from the album on a file sharing program, but couldnt find anything else.

I just heard it and I think it's brilliant. Tech-trance is the way to go. If I wanna listen to McProg or stuff that is not the best for the dancefloor I'll stick with Markus and Armin ASOT style. But for dancefloor mayhem, this is just on spot.

But IS it really illegal? To be, or not to be?

Posted by Spective on Apr-13-2004 06:27:

Well it violates the copyright/intellectual rights owned by the label. So yes, its illegal. Whether its immoral is up to you I guess. Personally, I only use mp3s to hear full versions of music before going out to buy it. There isnt a single illegal mp3 on my computer. Everything I have is given to me by the artists themselves because they trust me. I will never do anything to violate the that type of trust.

props to you mr justice and morally correct guy

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have no "illegal" mp3's either. But that's only because my connection is 56k. If I had a better connection, I'd even then only download songs I can't find on CD.

Nothing quite beats the feeling of owning the record, physically.

Having mp3s isn't illegal but sharing them is.
