I'm pretty sure we'll be hearing 'urban train' even though it was already played on an EM by Scott Bond. I'm guessing we'll be hearing kind of a mix of Tiesto's progressive style and his uplifting style perhaps. He'll probably also spin 'flight 643' even though he's played that out a bit (still a great tune though). The overall forecast is that it will be an awesome Tiesto set as always and will be sure to please...

i just hope its a bit different from his past sets.. they are good sets .. Club Eau , dutch dimension,Dance valley all sound the same..

as its his first EM ?? i hope he really puts in a lush mix.. blowing away the Radio 1 people..

Hi all,

Petrus, I'll upload it to Promowhores. I have to contact Glanis first.

Rawkus, YOU can record this, not any of us Americans, Dutch, Australians, Japanese...

320kbps!!! isn't that just a bit over the top?

Ne way, 2 hours, of Tiesto, ahhhh heaven What's the best thing/program 2 use 2 record stuff off the radio... I wanna get this!

Posted by jeronemango on Sep-01-2001 22:17:

i use sound forge 5.0 .. just free up heaps of space.. unless u go mega hard drive lol... then run ur stereo through ur soundcard..

Posted by Andrew K on Sep-01-2001 22:23:

I believe Total Recorder is the answer...
It also stops recording if you go under "Buffering"

Posted by flystyler on Sep-01-2001 22:26:

2am to 4am gmt for us brits, i will record it, but only fm radio, and i cant upload, only 56k, i cant wait though

Posted by dig2k on Sep-02-2001 21:11:

lol same here flystarter :-/ I used 2 use total recorder, but it fucks up hibernate on my computer? The driver it uses is listed as conflicting with hibernate? And I like hibernate, and it's a pain 2 turn off n on :-(

How many gb we talking for soundforge?

I only have a 20gb hard drive, and theres only 2gb free.... filled with muzic :-( I'm gettin a 80gb hard drive soon, but not soon enuf :-/

Ya djriot, tiesto needs 2 b bigger in england!

Posted by patticus on Sep-03-2001 22:32:

hah, are you sure you guys wont prog-attack him? is scott bond bigger than tiesto in england... cuz of the gatecrasher residency and all..

Posted by music2dance2 on Sep-04-2001 18:41:

tiesto is massive i the U.K.

I believe Tiesto is huge here...not just from Ibiza but anywhere he plays here the atmosphere is electric and its always rammed. This essential mix is just what is needed to let other people that havent heard him in clubs in the U.K. yet, to listen and learn.

My mate has just got ADSL and he will record it either from FM radio or internet, from the FM radio it sounds fine and I've seen the FTP server thingy where you can upload on to the TA server so we'll try and get it up also..I cant wait!

2 hour set in wave format will be less than 2 gigs!

Posted by djSlain on Sep-05-2001 03:34:

plus an extra 200 megs when he transers it into MP3 format

Posted by discojoe on Sep-05-2001 05:07:

There's something I really don't understand. If a broadcast is originally sent @ 128k... what difference does it make if it is recorded @ 128k 256k or 320k? It is still going to sound like 128k... won't it?

Posted by patticus on Sep-05-2001 05:58:

hm... well tiesto is as big as, or bigger (maybe) than trance monstah ferry corsten...
how does system f popularity go over in the uk???
