True sometimes about the weeknights but it isn't always the case. PvD on that Wed when he played the main room at Guv totally was wicked! But at the Tiesto gig there was A LOT of the "wannabe" crowd there that night. You could easily tell. I love it when people are into the music but there's a point where it just seems fake. That's how I felt that night. I still had an ok time though so I guess that's all that matters.

This would not be good. I have my fingers crossed. This is something from his newsletter that has me optimistic:

i just don't get the sense, given that he's only touring for 3.5 weeks, that it'll be anything big in Canada this time around. Maybe Montreal and Toronto but that's it.

Didn't he do a really extensive Cdn tour last year? like, 5 nights in a row or something?

at this point his schedule is already looking really vigorous .. playing as much as Wed - Sun at 4 or 5 different cities consecutively .. if we get the tail end he's sure to be burnt out



btw. he still hasn't been booked for the "24th" yet ..

yeah but I think it's entirely reasonable for Tiesto fans to expect that he make it out to the six or seven major Canadian cities AT LEAST ONCE a year. June 2003 was memorable, but come again please. He keeps saying how he wants to go to South America and all these other places, bla bla bla. I say screw that...come where the money is.

a lot of DJs are discovering south america...apparently it's quite the untapped scene, free of the BS that plauges the industry in North America and Europe.

I think a Cdn tour like that once a year is a lot to expect from the "world's #1 DJ"
