In summary:

1. Schulz will not sell out a club
2. Progressive dont draw a crowd.
3. Soups and Djway get a booth and make out.

there is no way schulz would fill out a club.

haha i love threads like this. Poor old soups

I'd go but i don't live in melborune so I guess its pretty irrelevant.

agreed!

to summarise even more...

1. no

Schulz doesn't really have an international profile at all.

He couldn't even fill a small club in London.

Maybe if he didn't play cheeze & coldharbour remixes he'd do alright.

Posted by narcism on Apr-15-2004 12:34:

Its very wishful thinking, on his own he wouldnt get many through the doors, with another big name maybe.
The ta community seem to love him, most people have never heard of him before. So most likely if he were to come to aus, he will do it with a festival.

Posted by Ian on Apr-15-2004 12:47:

he's only just come to the uk as it is, to gods with armin & gabriel & dresden, but gods is full every week no matter who's there.

I wouldn't think you'd get 1000 people for markus alone, you'd have to tag him along with other ppl or get him to play at a gods event or something down there imho

im not bothered by it.

as i've previously said many times, i was a bit optimistic to say he'd fill QBH, however we all concur it would be good night's entertainment to go see him play.

Behind Blue Eyes..

ok, there is one example, that track did suck some
serious donkey ass..

however whilst he played it, it was actually
the Trifactor Blue Room Remix. so it wasnt
his actual work.

still it did suck

I'll back soups,

I reckon with him playing as a guest in an existing night. It would make for a great party for the prog/trance fans.
