any predictions for Tue and Wed?

I say chelsea win but don't get through on goal diff.

Deport might win, but i'll jump bangwagons and say porto goes through 1-1 on the away goal rule.

Man, the entire Depor vs Porto legs were GAY.

Only thing that was good about it was that ESPN showed this really hot Depor fan who was crying and she was like, smoking.

1-0 aggregate won by a questionable penalty. Oh, and Tristan's diving antics. Tristan, you're a good striker, but you're GAY.

Now, I'll enjoy tomorrow's Chelski vs. Monaco leg because any footy match is better than this Porto vs. Depor crap.

lol I saw her too,I felt like flying over to spain to console her haha, then uh give her a ride home and uh you know ...your right both games sucked but o well lets hope the final is nothing like last years.

Right now, halftime at Stamford Bridge.
Gronkjaer and Lampard scores to make it 2-0 Chelski but Morientes pulls one back for Monaco.

Morientes hit the woodwork once, so did Gudjonsen. Morientes also missed by inches.

Simply amazing goal by Gronkjaer.

This game is 100 times better than Porto - Depor game.

What a fuckin game!! Chelsea is really impressive and so fast. But Monaco will resist for sure!

Go go Monaco...

MONACO THRU TO THE FINAL !!
FANTASTIC GAME!

FT: Chelsea 2-2 Monaco
Agg: 3-5

GO GO MONACO !

Posted by larifari on May-05-2004 21:09:

now best luck for monaco in the final
they kicked out real so they deserve to be the new champions

Posted by PacMan on May-05-2004 22:04:

champions league sucked this year

Posted by chesco on May-05-2004 22:52:

And award for worst champions league final match ever goes to:

Season 03/04

Posted by dukes on May-05-2004 23:50:

this is probly the first time ive looked forward to the uefa cup final more than the UCL

Posted by Plastick on May-06-2004 03:30:

I dunno man last years final looked good be4 the game but the actual game sucked ass.

Posted by chesco on May-06-2004 08:45:

i agree with the fact that last season was shite. but on papaer it was a great final, that was perhaps built up too much.

But, take monaco, are they even going to be able to fill their end of the ground with support, and porto, yes you gueussed it, i'm going to go back to last years uefa final.

It amazes me how commentators think so highly of this porto team, they play such boring football, they know every dirty trick in the book, but all the commentators love them I really can't see monaco beating them, which is annoying because they didn't deserve the uefa cup last year and they don't deserve the champions league this year.

But for one shocking game, it would have been milan going to the final

Posted by noikeee on May-06-2004 12:50:

do i smell someone who doesn't know how to lose..

i think the teams that should go to the final should be porto and deportivo. sure, the half-finals were boring, but IMO deportivo deserved more a place there than monaco. haven't seen neither the chelsea X monaco games, not even the highlights though.

and yes the final with two not-so-big teams like this isn't very exciting, but some surprises once in a while are only good for the sport

Posted by Soeder on May-06-2004 14:01:

i think the teams are quit good...porto has beaten manu and deportivo and as a manu fan i hate to admit that they were better in those matches and deserves the final

porto and monacco play good as teams but doesn't have many individualist(except from deco, morientes and maybe guily)

i think the final would be good teamplay...but with less individual skills than f. eks real - milan(dreamfinal)

You seem to forget something :

quote:

AS Monaco - Deportivo La Coruna
8:3 (5:2)
Mi 05.11.2003, 20:45 Uhr
Champions League 2003/2004, Vorrunde Gruppe C
17.000 Zuschauer - Schiedsrichter: Terje Hauge (Norwegen)

Tore:
1:0 Jrme Rothen 2.
2:0 Ludovic Giuly 11.
3:0 Dado Prso 26.
4:0 Dado Prso 29.
4:1 Diego Tristn 39.
4:2 Lionel Sebastin Scaloni 45.
5:2 Dado Prso 45.

6:2 Jaroslav Plasil 47.
7:2 Dado Prso 49.
7:3 Diego Tristn 52.
8:3 Edouard Cisse 67.

So I think Monaco really deserves to be finalist.
There's no doubt about that...

And you should have seen Monaco - Chelsea, it's was a far better semi-final!

Posted by denys envy on May-07-2004 07:28:

I FUCKING HATE CATENACCIO

Jose Morinho and that fucking italian style has made a mockery of football and the Deport-Porto semi.

This was the most boring semi I have ever seen. Tommy Smythe took the words out of my mouth - This is not Champions League Semifinal football.

I hope Porto lose because they murdered half of the Cup this year.

And stop ripping on the final it's fresh to see some new faces.

I grow tired of the big clubs always attending (bayern, real, man u, juve)
