Read This! More useless Stanley Trivia...

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that if (did I saw 'if'?? Sorry, that should be 'WHEN') the Leafs win, it would be the first time ever that a non-Canadian team capitan has won the Cup...

Believe it....or not...

anything short of that will get them killed.

If it wasn't for Niewendyk (now that's a player with a lot of heart) and Belfour, Leafs wouldn't have made it past the Sens. (Tie Dummy learned to play hockey for once, too)

Face it guys... Unless Leafs put on their A+ game, the Flyers will own them, like last few years or so.

I want the Leafs to win, but the Flyers, well, it'll be interesting.

Game 1 tonight at 7:30. I got my tix ready for tonight, should be a good series. These are easily the 2 biggest/most physical teams in the playoffs so get ready for a long angry series

Go Flyers!!!

K I went 7 for 8 in the first round...only toronto ruined my perfect record...i picked ottawa in 7 but anyway

I pick Philly in 6 because Toronto cannot handle the philly cycling game and the big men up front.

1999 DERIAN HATCHER (Born: Jun 4, 1972
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI, USA) was a captain for Dallas stars when they won the cup

and if the leafs will win against Flyers, when they will be in the final for a stanley cup for sure.

GO LEAFS GO
EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE

They're a highly skilled bunch of guys, just seems like sometimes they don't work together. Personally I think they play better without Sundin... AND i really hope they keep playin' STAJAN (*drooling*), So tomorrow night Game 1.. I'll hafta listen to it on the radio cause I'll be on the road.. BUT

GO LEAFS GO

I wouldn't count on Stajan playing the whole time, he'll more then likely be replaced with Renberg once he's heathly, since Quinn is a moron with things like that.

You think they got owned last year? Going 7 games, two into double overtime, one into trouble overtime, that is being owned?

They may have a poor record this year (1-3) against the Flyers. They were not doing well at all when they played the first game, and Belfour was lacking (and was actually pulled) during the back to back games in Jan, they won the 4th meeting when they were back on their game. Leetch has a good history against the Flyers. I think we have a great chance, never said it was easy, but the Leafs never play an easy series. Hell if they played the worst team in the league, it would end up being a tough series, that's just what happens to the Leafs.

I love Stajan! I hope to see more of him in the playoffs. Too bad he's not playing tonight. He's a great player in the making.

Posted by smuncky on Apr-23-2004 02:14:

I agree. Although Toronto lost, I liked what I saw. I was a little worried Philly would dominate Toronto, but it seems as though they are pretty much evenly matched. Slight advantage to Philly in offence department, though.
