I think my parents still have my old Atari. My fave was Ghost Manor. Those pixelled ghosts and skeletons were effing scary.

PONG can get one into trouble...2 guys who lived on my floor in university decided not to go out for a fire alarm because they refused to leave there intense game of pong. the firemen broke into their room as their really was a small smoke fire on our floor...and slapped them with a huge fine for not leaving. poor bastards.

I remeber being in an elementary school computer class filled with PETs and CBMs...there was ONE Commodore 64 and everyone had to take turns using it

Dammit. For over 2 decades I have been singing Brown Girl in the Rain. Not quite as bad as when my sister thought the Who song "I Can't Explain" was actually "Dennis Quaid"...I let he sing that one about town for many months before pointing out her mistake.

LOL. It sucks when you think you're ABSOLUTELY sure about a song's lyrics, only to be proved wrong. I know I've done that before a few times and although it's such a small thing, doesn't it feel like part of your 'world' has come crumbling down?

My favourtie game for the intellivision was the tank one, where you'd drive around and blow up your friends...

I remember getting a Commodore 64 and thinking, "THIS IS THE BEST!"

Then getting a Nintendo and thinking "THIS IS THE BEST!"

THEN getting an XT (8086) and thinking... you guessed it... "THIS IS THE BEST!"

But I have to say my favourite video game was Galaga. Sooo awesome how your dude would get taken away, then you could rescue him and have, like, DOUBLE DUDES!

MAX! Remember when we got that game... oh crap... I think it was called Out of This World... or something... and this guy left his particle accelerator on and zapped himself into another dimension or something... that huge alien comes over and pats the guys on the head and says, "Matsoba!" OMG... I can't remember laughing that hard EVER... we must have watched it about a thousand times...

whew... good times. GI Joe and transformers... Thundercats, and the smurfs... all things I wish my daughter would have a chance to experience. The cartoons now are just plain weird, not as well thought out at all. Or maybe I'm just too old...

Yeah.. Out of This World -- Great game!! (A la Prince of Persia; yet another great game)

1984.. Big Brother is Watching. Man I wish Iw as my age that I am now and living in 1984. So much easier to get a job Much better music than we have today (Yes, I am stating I would rather listen to 80s than trance ) and East Germany was still East Germany. Problem was I was only 4years old then and never got to expereince it full hand. Wish I was there now.
