Tickets

Havent seen any tickest posted on the Commodore website or any venus for tiesto comming to vancouver....

PLEASE POST when somone finds out when you can get tickets IF you can get tickets

I checked Tiesto's website and noticed June 9th at the Commodore had been pulled off the list of tour dates. I talked to Dimitri at Black Hole/Primetime management. He says that they have pulled Vancouver off the list of venues/shows. They are still negotiating, so this date is not yet confirmed I hope things go well in negotiations. He says keep checking www.tiesto.com for updates. They also pulled his LA date for the same reason.

It would be nice to see someone else get the opening call. TJ is wicked don't get me wrong, but he plays sleepy music at best, not the sort of thing to amp up a hungry crowd before Tiesto. There are so many talented people who spin in this city. I really wish promoters would get a clue.
TJ probably will get the call though. He has been around a long time and he has sucked up enough to get called for the big shows.

And TJ has known Tiesto for a while now, so im sure Tiesto will make sure that Tyler opens for him, Tyler plays Funky progressive, its not my cop o tea but he is a pretty good DJ, i remember that back in the day he used to play Trance...

Well it sucks that it's not confirmed that he's coming ( bit of a tease) ... however we know he'll come back, and it's long over due... so I think we just need to be patient ... not that i have any :S

I just saw in this mornings local paper "Westender" that Tiesto's june 9th tickets were for sale at Zulu Records here in town ( 604-738-3232). I called them at 2pm today but they don't know a thing about it and they said " The promoter better get tickets here quick then".

I also just checked the officail Tiesto website and there's still no "official" mention of vancouver.

Hope this works.......my first post!!

Further to this i just called Ticketmaster and they said they dont know a thing about Tiesto coming to vancouver.........argh!
I've never seen him live but i've been addicted to his music since August 2003, i really hope this doesnt just fizzle out.

yeah, I've noticed the people at ticketmaster can be dumbass's sometimes.... is that proper english

Anyway, Commodore is a good venue, should be somewhere bigger though, although, I'm not complaining. I'm goning to get my tickets right when they open on the 7th!

I'm assuming his set will be from around 12am or 1 to 3 or 4am.

Anyway anyone on here can organize a Tiesto meet-up party, with the man himself, just like people have done with Ferry and Armin. I'm sure it's been done before, i think
