If it wasn't for the fact that I could be charged $7500 for breaking the embargo, I would have already.

whats so exciting about havana?

Have u been there?? I hope u have - because I feel sorry for ppl who form an opinion of a country and its ppl without ever having been there..... If u went there and u didn't enjoy it, then ur entitled to ur opinion......but I myself will wait and make up my own mind when I go there.......and I certainly won't let something like communism keep me from visiting somewhere!! Actually, that makes it even more appealing because, for me, half the point of travelling is to experience cultures and lifestyles that are very different to what I have here in Australia.....I want to see new things, and have experiences that I can't have here......I'd be bored out of my mind if my travels never took me out of my comfort zone!!!

From my personal experience, the Cuban ppl I've met have all exuded the kind of passion that I don't often encounter in ppl from other places....so, I'm curious - I want to go see the place that manages to instill such a passion in ppl....maybe it will awaken something in me too I feel drawn to it.....I don't know quite why...but I know I have to go find out........I'm so tired of sitting here staring out my office window every day watching the world outside pass me by....time to get out there and start LIVING....and Cuba seems a great place to get some tips on how to do that

If anyone wants to join me next year, lemme know...hehehehe
