Crobar is cool - i went there for Jan Johnston w/Dan last week or the week before... i've lost track of time. was an awesome space, but i wasn't too fond of the crowd... they were all stumbling over each other drunk, throwing their glasses & beer bottles on the floor (many of which ended up smashed... I was afraid to walk in parts of the dancefloor), and smoking on the dancefloor. ick. and that was a monday night.. i can't imagine what it's like on a weekend.

thanks. yeah, maybe the club was more lenient b/c it was a monday and they knew no one would be checking up on them? also, it was israeli independence day, so the israelis had probably been partying all day already, and i imagine that contributed to some of the chaos...

I have been to Crobar several times including S&D right after WMC and for Sander in the beginning of April. It honestly is one of the nicest decor clubs I have been in..the Phazon is pretty good, but it's a little hollow sounding b/c the ceilings are 40ft high. Bad things is the drinks are insanely expensive and watered down...plus side..really hot chics.

The vibe is good...however since it is such a mainstream bottle service club, you have the drinkers and the people who come just to go the club and have no clue who the DJ is...but there is a really diverse crowd. I like it a lot...plus my boy is the bouncer for VIP and I know a few girls who run the only reduced list for Crobar.

A place where most of its resident Dj�s are played out commercial Trance Dj�s and most of its weekly patrons are sketchy Persian dudes hitting on anything with tits... Also moving to a new venue with a name that is so disgraceful one wonders how anyone could chose to walk in there...

i was at crobar yesterday for one of my friends' company's party (service industry party of some sort). open bar for a few hours, big sausage fest, but that's not the point of this post. it seems that crobar's system needs a little bit of tweaking. hopefully they'll get that fixed by the 18th.
