The worst part isn't ignorance, it's ignorant people who refuse to believe they don't know what they're talking about. Once Black Hole signs his track it's their track. They can do whatever the hell they like with it. Granted, if they butcher his productions then maybe he'd go find somewhere else to release his music, but BH is a huge label and it would be rather detrimental to his career to leave all that behind.

So let's leave Ton TB out of this. Myself, I think it's disgusting and I'm a big Black Hole fan. Doesn't mean I'll enjoy TB's music any less, but I will certainly not listen to the vocal mix and I hope I never hear it.

ROFL...

TBH I'm not keen with the original mix...it just that the main theme had so much potential wasted...

Posted by moogwai on May-07-2004 21:18:

ROFL.. so bad!

You like the original dubbed best, that's fair. Don't flame the labels/artists for that reason. They release vocal remixes in order to get their music reach the charts easier (I read this on an interview with Ton), and I actually think the vocals are kind of catchy. Especially near the climax-end, before the usual mixover begins, where you hear "I was in a dream.. dream.. dream.." (echoing out)

Don't forget the Miro vocal version of Greece 2000, Christ those were pointless vocals.

"Wherever you go- I will follow."

Well cheers for telling us that, you just fucking raped a classic!

those were added by miro on the hooj release so technichly three drives couldn't do much with that one, but yeah, those were really pointless

crw vs 3 drives - i feel love in greece, i actually kinda like that bootleg...

Posted by TRanCE643 on Jun-11-2004 18:23:

its just for radio play and shit - nobody good is gonna be playin this mix its all about either original or marco v

Trance.nu: The first release should feature and Original Extended Mix and Full Vocal Mix. What can you tell us about this vocal mix?
Ton T.B.: Again it was Blackholes idea that for radio play a track with vocals would do better. It is more catchy and accessible that way. So it was Alexander Pearls from New York who provided us with the vocals.

Trance.nu: How did you get in contact with Alexander Pearls?
Ton T.B.: I asked Tiesto if he knew somebody that could do some male vocals for us.

off trance.nu

So partly Black Hole's idea, partly Ton's.

Da-da! Case solved.

Uh, no...

Read it again. Black Hole wanted vocals for the track. All Ton TB said is he then asked Tiesto if he know a vocalist.

Uh no, read it again. If Ton TB didn't approve smacking the vocal mix on vinyl, he probably wouldn't go on ask Tiesto and telling him what type of male voice he wanted

edit: spelling errors

Posted by sleepydragon on Jun-11-2004 22:18:

nothing beats that lame fragma song that is clearly cafe del mar with vocals over the top

Well if you don't understand it you don't understand it, I don't think I can rephrase. Once Black Hole told him there was going to be a vocal mix, why wouldn't Ton TB try to get the vocalist he wanted?

Posted by DiMethGuy on Jun-12-2004 04:47:

I like cheese for starters...and this doesn't disappoint....dreeeeeeeam machine!! w00t!!

but I would've liked it better if the dude was like "faiiiiiiiiiirlight districtionnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" that would've been a barn stormer!
