Not Kai Tracid - He's already playing in a huge German Festival that weekend.

looks like u thought about it....

You got it right tayfoon. Here at Solid Corp, we will always try our best to get what people want and when we ask ppl who you guy want to see, we "ACTUALLY" do try to go for them. Only way of us NOT booking the artists that u wanna see is either do to their availability or our budget plan. One of our many aims at Solid Corp is to work with the people to build the show together. Hope you guys will enjoy the lineup when we announce it. We're just waiting for 1 more contract!!!!! and we'll be SET TO GO!!!

Cheers

Lastly for the locals, i've read MANY replies on the fact that u TAers wanna see new local talent on the mainstage. We do acknowledge your request but we have 4 headliners coming that night, which each of those dj(s) will be playing around 2hrs each. We did have a few new local artists planned for the main room, however, we ended up getting 4 headliners (instead of 3) for the main room. With around 2hrs or so remaining after 4 headliners, we would like to put our residents priority. As many of you guys may predict, Shy Brothers / Jimmy Chou / Valdo will be holding down the main room. For those who ask why the Shy Brothers are playing in the main room, one main reason is IMF2004 will be their "official" release for their new track on Fate Tunes Records. Secondly, Jimmy Chou and Valdo are our Solid Corp's main residents. Hopefully, TAers can take this into account and be leant on this. We do infact have new local talent / rarely booked for massives djs for imf in our 2nd and 3rd area. I will certainly promise you that we will look into "NEW" local talent in the main room for our future shows.

Regards,
Stan.

There's lots of big parties in the States for 4th of July, so that will lock up alot of the big dj's too

(me hoping for Marco Carola, Misstress Barbara or Filterheadz)

Posted by DjCommisad on May-13-2004 23:53:

looks intriguing so far stan.

Posted by Shad0wmaster on May-14-2004 03:04:

I'm with Arpy on this. Some solid techno acts would be awesome, even though I won't be there

I'm very glad to see that you guys do seem to be putting a lot of effort into giving people what they want instead of trying to make as much cash as possible, like Twisted does.

Can't wait to hear the lineup!

My favourite DJ at last year's IMF was Sean Walsh.

Posted by Shad0wmaster on May-14-2004 03:45:

Shameless plug =P

Posted by Sean Walsh on May-14-2004 04:56:

Haha, thanks Kate =P

I appreciate what you're trying to do here Stan, it's cool that you're coming into potentially hostile territory here and giving everyone an explanation of what's going on; I respect you for that.

I'm pretty sure that Nu-NRG are one of the artists they're bringing, and if that's the case I'm sure a lot of TAs will have a good time here. IMF last year was a great party production wise and I was very impressed with the way things were handled and appreciated playing there. I'll be out of town when this party happens but I wish you guys all the best with it!

Posted by Tayfoon on May-14-2004 06:05:

If NU- NRG is one of the headliners then i know ALOT of ppl that are going to be there, well ill probably go anyway since 4 headliners sounds good and last year's Gielen set was killer
Cant wait for the line up and a big thumbs up for Solid and their production values.
