-- Ferry Corsten - It's Time
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
I'm glad I didn't purchase it b4 decide to take a listen to the "samples" first...
Ferry has gone too far imho... than "being innovating"...
disappointing, only the kai tracid remix is "acceptable" imo
the flashover mix is pure class! it maybe has cheesy synths but they sound so sweet!
I sort of like the vocals in this track, but to each their own.

Original mix is pretty cool, allways been a fan of mr.Corsten though. The Agnelli and Nelson remix is garbage. I don't believe this is the people that brought us Nothing, Everyday, etc. as well as remix duty on tunes like Slipmat - Space
Original 7/10 now but I think it is gonna get thrown off my playlist in the near future.
Agnelli and Nelson remix 3/10, wtf? I'll let it go only because of their past accomplishments....
this track is my fav from right of way..
Luke Slater mix is the one for me, flashover mix is also nice

For example, if you listen to System F - Cry, some of you will think that the voice is irritating. Everyone knows Jan Johnston, Justine etc. have a nice voice. If you look at them, they appear white right? Sorry people. I know everyone has both sides towards Black woman's voices, but I just had to say this. |
Still love the Kai Tracid mix, kicks the crap out of the other mixes, although Agnelli & Nelsons mix is very good.
Ugh, the Agnelli & Nelson Remix is one of their worst works ever IMO. I love the original and Ferry's Flashover, and both the Kai Tracid and Luke Slater Rockers Shock Mixes are great reinterpretations, but the A&N mix just destroys the song IMO.
im very late on this one, but i like the OG mix.
But i like electro, so that figures.
I am happy with ferry being able to keep things fresh.

I can't believe the amount of people who like this...I don't hate ferry corsten, but this is awful IMO
If I produced a big line like that, everyone would say how cheesy or lame and simple it is..but for some reason, corsten does it and it's cherished.
Come on, do you guys really think this is a fresh piece of trance? Granted, the electro sound as it builds up is nice, but when the big line hits, it sounds like someone bangin on a church organ.

I second the lol.
I expect so much more from Ferry. Dont like this track and I like he started falling off when I heard the track Rock Your Body rock. What was he thinking? I think he is slowly coming back into his trance reality.
What I like about Ferry is that while some of his songs are leaning toward being more poppy he still remixes some of his own tracks with a more trancey twist with his "Flashover" productions. I think it's a cool way for him to broaden his appeal to the masses and yet still satisfy the Trance Addicts. And beyond his own Flashover Remixes, there's always outside productions too. I really like the original and Flashover mixes of It's time, but I also love the thumping basslines in the Kai Tracid and Luke Slater mixes as well. The Agnelli & Nelson Remix is the only one which is bleh for me.
