Guess I am clueless, all those Traffic flaming threads got to me.

Yeah those mp3z kids are cool...

Maybe those same people should get of a pc once in awhile and go to a party and experince the tracks live... and the atmosphere they create.

FYI I heard Traffic live spun by Jules and I buy vinyl all the time, so please don't label me an MP3 Kiddy.

My thread could call flaming if I was complaining, bashing the tracks, I didnt mention these songs cus I dont like, because I LIKE these tracks, but my point was:

If a producer not well known or not well located in the scene was the producer of the track, for example:

If Yves Deruyter was the producer of Journey of life, this single could be famous like it was last year'?
If Max Walder was the producer of Traffic, could be Traffic be so famous'?
I think not... but Tiesto did the song, so the fans will love the track only for the producer, not for the value of track itself...

This is one of the problems there are lot of trancers complaining about trance 2004, cus people are focused on big names, but there are new producers like Nathan Fake, Filo & Peri, Petter, Envio, Mark Otten doing a good work, better the latest music from top djs/producers.

But its my oppinion, only this, you're free to not agree
Cya...

ok, I just wanna say, Envio really suxx. sure, he has produced a few tracks that sound ok, but there's nothing new about his music. It's just another ASOT producer. ASOT is kind of the tobacco of trance music, u don't know that it's dangerous before it just makes everything quit evolving and then it all dies! (like innovative & interesting music)
but, as u wrote: it just my opinion.

i think lady blue is fuckin incredible and i knew and liked airwave for quite some time since like 99 or 00. it might be famous with other people because it is airwave, but i heard a short rip if it back in early 2002 i believe and was waiting for the release fora very long time, =)

Well... I heard both Traffic, Nothing But You, and Journey of Life before I even knew who they were produced by and immensely enjoyed the three of them... they are great when played loud on a club system! I don't understand why people don't like Journey of Life, I feel like its main lead is one of the most amazing works ever! Anyway... as for the others, it took me a while to warm up to Punk (had to hear it live), Lady Blue is good, but not amazing, and C:/del.*mp3 took me another liveset to really enjoy it. Although I feel as if MIKE/Push's new tracks are drivel (ie. Electric Eclips).

On the other hand... new producers make good music and people recognize it too! Filo & Peri are getting huge, Mark Otten is fairly well known in the trance world now, Perry O'Neil is getting more recognition, Octagen, MK-S, the whole Euphonic crew... all of them getting praise... so I don't know what everyone is worried over the "big guns" getting recognition.

I'm not proud of having heard Jules, but the point was that I heard Traffic Live... I'm not a big fan of Jules.

Good point.

Now I'm tired of talking about Traffic, I heard Holden and Fleming last night and they kicked my butt, it was soooo awesome, both very nice guys that I am proud of having seen at Spundae.
