Give them what they want. Just drop a fucking bomb and call it good.

You just proved your extreme level of stupidity once again. Its not only that youre stupid but also a complete idiot, which is pretty much redundant, but applies to you.

Middle East is gigantic territory and we have an Israel in the middle of it, who is our beloved friend and supported by Leiberman.
Middle East is our partner in business and by destroying it we would not achieve anything but creating more conflicts and anger of 100s of millions of people worldwide.

Please dont post anymore. You are one pathetic individual who ask for money on the message boardsplus if its you on your avatar, youre ugly one too.

plz don't generalize.

I am sure you love it when others lump you in with a bunch of tools. I am positive there are good people in the middle east...

so if you are flipping off anyone..it should be these specific people and those that support and or follow it.

This was meant to be happening for years under Saddam and the whole world turned a blind eye. Saddam should have been removed back in 1990, he and his followers are scum as far as I am concerned.

The abuse shown of the Iraqi prisoners was totally out of order, they were meant to be there to stop that kind of thing not do it themselves. However I do not believe that this is an accurate depiction of how the entire coalition force in Iraqi is.

I fully believe that the war was justified, not because of weapons of mass destruction but because of the way the people of Iraqi had been mistreated for decades. When was it going to end? Saddam's sons were both evil bastards who tortured and killed when they pleased, either or both of them would have ruled Iraqi just as mercilessly for decades to come.

Over 500,000 thousand Iraqi children are meant to have died from starvation and disease since the last Gulf war while Saddam took tens of millions from the food for oil program. He lived in more luxury than anyone else on earth while his people failed to be provided with even their basic human rights.

I acknowledge that there are terrible costs to pay for the people of Iraqi but I believe that it is very disproportionate to the amount of pain then would endure for years to come if nothing was done.

People seem to forget that the coalition forces gave Saddam a way of avoiding the war the weekend before it started, they told him and his sons to flea the country and they would be spared. The US, Britain, Spain, Japan, Australia etc did not go there to wreck the lives of innocent Iraqis, I believe they went to liberate them. It was Saddam and his Bath party that had no value on human life and were will to stand by while his people suffered. His true colours were shown when he was found down a hole like the rat he was, he used to make rousing speeches to his followers that there would always be one bullet left for him.

Hopefully he will get the punishment he deserves soon enough and Iraqi will be able to move beyond its current problems and build a better life for the future.

I am not an American incase any of you think that I am bias and only willing to see one side to this conflict Im Irish.

Usually I'm all over watching this sort of thing, but seeing how my stomach turned when I heard about it on the radio this morning, I think I'll skip this one.

I agree with this statement, but seriously, there have been countless times that the US have backed puppet dictators in other countries for their own gains.

For Nick - I really hope he rests in peace. For his family and friends - my thoughts are with you.

The problem is that this is going to happen again, probably something even worse. Why? Well, what had the Iraqi's done so far with the hostages? Pretty much not a lot. These Iraqi's quoted revenge as the reason, for the pictures of american soldiers abusing captives. Maybe it was revenge. Maybe the pictures just gave them a legitimate excuse. IT DID. What do the americans think they are doing. Doing those things to the Iraqi captives is one thing. Taking pictures is another. The americans involved will be viewed by the rest of the world as scum. Sorry, but its true. The majority of the world, even I suspect people in the middle east, want peace and civilised behaviour. Now, the americans who came to save them have proved to many that some of them are no better.

Those 'soldiers' who posed and took photos must be shitting it now. They have signed their own companions death warrants. Dick heads. The government should send them down for life.

I am so not looking forward to what will happen to the next US soldier to get captured. Come on USA. Smarten up and learn!

Posted by Arbiter on May-12-2004 21:21:

It's an unfortunate situation but no more unfortunate than the deaths of the thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians who have perished in this conflict.

The media is trying to milk this guy's murder for their own profit, and therefore they blow it out of proportion. It's a war. People die. Don't buy into the frenzy.

The video saddens me. Yet I do not feel compelled to drop a bomb on millions and millions of other innocent civilians, regardless of nationality. If this crime was commited in America, all of those men who commited the crime would be given free lawyers, since they can't afford them, and probably be locked away in a mental institution for the rest of their lives, because their parents molested them. Seriously, just because these people are from another nation, does not mean they are less human than an American. Let's think for a moment about the 6 year old boy who lost both of his arms in an American airstrike; he wanted to be a doctor. FUCK YOU AND YOUR FASCIST APPROACH TO THE WORLD.

peace

Seriously. And screw all the relativists who cry about "how can you say your culture is any better, you probably seem crazy to them!"

Basically thats like asking why 2+2 isnt 5. because it isnt the way it fucking works. Anyways. Imagine how much this world could progress if we never had to worry about the middle east again...ever.

Say it. "The entire world never has to worry about the middle east again"

ahhh so soothing.

"The entire world never has to worry about the middle east again"

im so relaxed im going to go take a nap.

Saw it. The video was horrible however that is not what shocked me the most. It was the audio of him screaming that I still can't get out of my head. I feel so bad for him and his family. My prayers are with him.

CanadiAn. And no, spoken like a true human being. What makes your life worth more than the ones in Iraq? I'm pretty sure I didn't ask to be born in Canada, and am only here by chance and genetics. Stop blaming the rest of the world and projecting your anger on people you will never meet. Maybe lay off the meth while you're at it.

I am sure you can just say the opposite.....

Man this world would be a hell of a lot easier for them if there was no US. and that is what they are trying to do.

So we could bomb ourselves and teh world would be a better place.

obviously thats sarcasm if you don't catch on too fast.

I think it is time to look at this a little more broadly and see what it says about our foreign policy. When should we actually disband a government and restructure a country? You would think when there is a general concensus between many countries, however that didn't happen here.

ah, Im sick of typing about this shit.
