how much does a vinyl cost to make?
how much are the ppl that making it paying, the people that are buying it from them (ie record stores) and how much are we paying?
im just curious as to how much the price riases over the chain

I dunno but when i buy records @ my local recordstore i pay about 9.5 euro's each. When i check the prices @ only dj's they're usually 7 - 8 euro's.

I think recordstores pay them 6 euro's each or maybe a wee bit more, the rest are profits.

So I think the price of vnyl is pretty fair.

Actually, you can. Except it's not called a vinyl burner.

Its called a vinyl cutter, and yea, its way in the thousands. Good stuff if you can afford one. However, unless you buy in bulk, the blank vinyls are almost as expensive as recorded ones so you are back to square one.
On top of that, most conventional cutters just copy other records so you still need to original the begin with.

Im lookin to pick up a bundle bag of progressive house vinly's 20-50 vinlys .. most sites jus have the genre progressive written to describe their grab bags.. any eva buy a progressive house grab bag.. and from where?

The reason that vinyl is more expensive than CD's is because cd's are bought way more meaning they have a larger consumer base than vinyl does, the common person these days isn't going to be buying vinyl only DJ's and audiophiles etc will be buying vinyl so they have to recoup more with each sale than is the case with CD's. Think of it as the difference because your local diner/cafe and a McDonalds the local diner is going to be more expensive because there most likely going to serve fewer customers while the local McDonalds will serve a lot more but make less on each item they sell.

Consider the fact that a good vinyl release sells in the thousands while a good CD release sells in the Millions.

release records had grab bags, i dunno if they have them still. I never got them because they dont list what records are in there and im afriad of getting all shitty records.

If your worried about getting a grab bag you won't like ask if they'll give you one of just one label or something that way you can but sure that you will at least like some of it.

in portugal stores -> 10 a record

the difference between importing them from the uk or so isn't very big

but our salaries are very small compared to other countries, it makes it twice as bad!

4 For more commercial tunes in more commercial record stores
6 This is probably about the average price for regular tunage
8+ Inports, rare vinyls etc...
