I guess i might have to make the trip down. Anyone got room for a TA'er from the sunshine state. Also anyone know if you can get AU.TA or TA shirts? Preferably with DD so as to not require a CC.

Posted by A.J. on Jun-03-2004 09:07:

DD? CC???

Sounds impressive.....

Posted by webmeister on Jun-03-2004 11:23:

DD = direct deposit
CC = credit card

Frawg mate there's always room

Good set times as well, was getting a bit sick of that Cameron bloke always playing the closing set...

I think over the last couple of months that prog/prog breaks has well and truly taken over Trance. Extreme lack of quality productions being released by Trance producers and I truly cannot keep up with all the latest prog/prog breaks/prog house.

Come and reach for the light

Safe as Fcuk (BTW Webby, I did get that the other day, but it wasn't lasers ).

Sid, I personally think it's more our tastes changing/maturing, like natural progression.....There's always more people who get into EDM @ Trance, then those who progress/accept progressive....@ the end of the Trance life cycle (where we've been @ for a while in regards to production), some people move on, some stay, soem drop out, and new people join when the life cycle starts again....The Clubber's Life Cycle. I've been told next is Tech House and Techno in the cycle after progressive.

Wouldn't that be an OD, considering it's the clubbers life cycle

nah u just gotta know where to look JOHN 00 FLEMING!!

um but yea part of the reason i turned to prog is cause i got sick of the Arminish sound, so i looked for other forms of trance and music, on the way i found my good friend J00F i found prog and i found that tiesto changed his style to a much more energetic trance sounds.

So me lubs me prog, but it has to be good prog, not boring piss weak beats, has to be a strong beat, good bassline and nice melody. Trance has to have lots of energy and not 5 minute cheesy break down (apart from the od tune)

and then comes the
TECHNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

techno rocks for mixing, so much energy when ur mixing it, goes off! but there is a time and a place, tech trnace goes off for closing set

Posted by Sid on Jun-04-2004 07:25:

Yeah I think most people's on these boards are starting to get over the Arminish style of Trance. Majority seem to be drifting towards Tech-Trance and the other's (including myself) are starting a full embrace of the progressive side of the genre.
