Just a little side-note: that sound is as old as trance music itself, already been used in Metal Master - Spectrum back in 1992 (I think).

I'm not saying this to degrade the quality of it, just a reminder from an old-timer

He's actually used it for a while now, way before Sublime. Listen to Sholan - Can U Feel (Thrillseekers Mix), at the 0:55s mark, you'll hear it
