Are there "sweet cheeses" that taste like cheese but smell like roses? That would sure get the senses mixed up, wouldn't it?

well, i like Stilton Blue and i wanted to try something relatively new, so i thought "it's not quite Stilton, but hey, it's blue too. so if i want to try something new, why not eat some Danish?"

and, man, it's GOOD!!!

mmm i love cheese so much. not a big fan of strong blue cheeses, but still ok. i love soft cheeses they are the best. my favourite is l'explorateur (spelling?). brie and camembert are good as well.

Posted by jdat on Jun-01-2004 17:47:

I'd love to have some camembert but the stuff they sell in the usa is crap ... it's not the same as in France + it's freaking expensive ( I'm not paying loads of money for a block of fermented milk and mold :P )

Posted by klingklang77 on Jun-01-2004 18:52:

well i am near fance so the price isnt so much as in the states....

they pack it weirdly when they send it to the usa because of customs and sanitary regulations ... it's just not the same thing as when you buy it in france

I remember I used to buy it by looking on the date of manufacturing depending on how strong/smelly you wanted it to be. Here it don't mean crap cause it's like it's blocked from air and they add preservatives almost
