Guess no one saw my post where Marco himself says it's Marco Vay (OK, i saw Vey, rhymes with hey...but close enough!).

So, I will just go by what Marco has said...It's Marcy Vay.

Dook is the way the germans say it. Everyone else say Dyke though. Saying Paul the english way isn't absolutely correct either, it should really be pronounced Paool, but Paul said he was used to everyone calling him Paul van Dyke, so he didn't mind.

OK dudes, I asked MarcoV myself just hours ago which way is the correct way to say his last name, "Vee or Vay"

His response. "Vee or Vay is correct. Also, some people pronounce it "Five" which is fine, too. I don't really care."

Not his exact words, but that was the essentail answer.

And also, he laughed when I mentioned this thread.

English speaking people call it Marco Vee, the Dutch call him Marco Vey because we pronounce the single letter V differently.
