The Dream Final would be Portugal playing against The Netherlands, but now i know, that it's impossible...

Posted by Durafei on Jun-04-2004 15:24:

For me it would be France vs Netherlands.

Henry vs Van Nisterlroy (two of the best European strikers)

I really don't wanna see Italy and Germany in the final. Those teams play boring soccer, and force opposite team to play boring soccer as well.

Spain v Netherlands/Italy/France

Spain vs. England

The Italian games are so boring, too defensive. Dunno why some of you would prefer to see a final with Italy in.

Germany - *

bring it on!

Posted by CoriNeroAzzurri on Jun-07-2004 02:28:

For me it would be Italy - France. With Italy winning, really want to get back at the french and its 2 sides with great players.

Switzerland v. Italy or Germany or France. Those languages are spoken here so it would be interesting.

what the hell is that supposed to be? Portugal will have to deal with Greece and Russia before they could (possibly) play England in the quarters or semis. And, to be honest, given England's recent performance, I think they can crush anyone from Group A except, perhaps, Spain.

Sweden - England

5 - 4

After Golden Goal By Zlatan!

Canadian by birth only, my friend. I consider myself Canadian first of course, but my blood is English all the way. My dad was born in Liverpool and my grandpa fought in WW2 as an RAF pilot. My mom's side is mostly English back one generation with a bit of Scottish. I've been over many times and can't wait to get back again. I think you'd be surprised at the amount of England fans over here mate...the pubs are always packed for their games...we went absolutely nuts when Owen scored against Brazil, only to go home disappointed. Canada has changed a lot since our British origins, but I'd say the majority of Anglo Canadians still feel some loyalty. I know I do.
