i give it a 6-7/10 He fucked with Unkle - In A State. Made it breaks and shit. The album is verry "addy." lots of ambient sounds/tracks, and breaks. Definately a chillout album>club banger.

Grand National - Talk Amongst Yourselves(sasha rework)
prob my fav track...

Lostep - Burma (sasha rework)
is kinda cool

Felix Da Housecat - Watching Cars Go By(sasha rework)
the vox ruin the track

Ulrich Schnauss - On My Own (sasha rework)
prob the closest track to what id call prog

yea, i hate prog & house that isnt bass driven Thats why im not to big into most of sasha's/markus' stuff

1. your idol paul van dyk is melody driven, not bass driven, and has been so since I first saw him in '98.

2. have you even listened to any sasha sets in the past two years? have you ever heard of a guy named Luke Chable, whose music sasha canes all the time? you are on crack if you think his music isn't bass driven, or at least the majority of it.

maybe we have a misunderstanding over the term 'bass-driven'

The CD will be mixed with Sasha's personal re-edits of some of his favorite tracks from the past few years.

Here's an indepth review from Prog-Sounds:

I have heard the 19 min promo and been loving it since.

why do u have to compair pvd with prog? Maby if you could open your eyes you would notice that they are structured differently.

the last time i checked i said. "yea, i hate prog & house that isnt bass driven Thats why im not to big into most of sasha's/markus' stuff. "

is there something u dont understand?

Chable's basslines/kick are weak ZZZZZZZZZZZ. Yes ive listened to over 10 sasha sets from the past 2 years, cant say ive liked many. Their em blew hard imo.

you dont have to like what i say, but i dont care.

if you feel like entertaining me, what chable track have huge basslines?

sigh
i guess that would be like you naming good pvd tracks in the past year or two for me... you'd have many to mention, but i'd shoot them all down.

different tastes i guess!

you'll outgrow epic trance one day, mark my words!

Er, maybe we're just defining things differently, but what would you call a track with a "big bassline"?

Posted by sandstorm03 on Jun-02-2004 04:49:

like a strong bass/kick, something danceable, and not so filler...
His remix of open day is good, but other then that bleh...

Sasha took, what, 5 years to do ADD? With a lot of other projects and DJing work during the meantime, of course, but I think he had a perfectionist attitude while making it. I'm not sure when the next one will come.

just becuase it took "7 years" for him to put out a "solo album," doesnt mean he spent 7 years making it. Its like saying pvd made reflections since, 01/02 when he started making connected. Time doesnt really matter much anyway, many great albums have been made in a short period of time.

And its not like he didn't have help from 4-5 other artists. Its not like sasha tours like crazy either, so i dont see much stopping him. But whatever

one of my mates got the full promo from GU gave me a listen - and it is most decidedly mixed, and most decidedly chocked full of groovealicious ch00ns.

I'm extremely excited for this one!! If it's anything, quality-wise, like Airdrawndagger, it'll be amazing!! Can't wait till June 22nd for the release here!!

Cheers,
Terry
