3 exams in 9 days !

Electrical Engineering/Commerce @ Monash, Welcome to engineering G'Dave, dont stress too much in first year because it gets harder very quickly. Sometimes i wish i was just doing commerce cause its so freaking easy, but then i actually deceide to turn up to the lectures and i'm quickly reminded of how boring it is. Anyway my study started last night... 6 exams starting wed over 2.5 weeks. S_madis i dunno what your talking about no social life i only went out once this weekend because exams start this week but i'll go out twice or more a week otherwise, but my grades are average. :P P's get degrees!!!

I tend to get a bit carried away really... I'm sure most people only did 2-3 pages for one question..
But I load it up with comments.. use big writing.. and tend to cover all the input type holes.. like out of ranges and things like that... ends up taking quite a while.

A plain BA won't get me anywhere. |
OH... group meetings.... *Shakes Fist*

gotta love the peace and fucking quiet at 2 am.
now to learn myself this subject which i rarely went to, due to the fact we had the same lecturer for most of it, and noone could understand him.
after a few weeks, half the class wasnt bothering to show, and half of what did show left during the lectures....
and we didnt get a form to fill out on his lecturing skills, like with most....
Maybe write out a letter on his lecturing skills in pig's blood or something, and slip it under his door
The funniset thing ive heard of from a lecturer is that one of my mates went to this lecture (which id conveniently slept through
) and for the first 40 minutes of the lecture no one could understand what the lecturer was saying no matter how hard they tried to decipher his accent (he was pakistani), after about 40 minutes though one kid at the front (a pakistani as well) put his hand up and went the lecturer asked him what he wanted, the kid said "i can understand you fine and all but it might be a good idea if you spoke in English so that the REST of the class can understand you!"
He'd been doing the whole lecture in Pakistani! LOL.... needless to say he stopped lecturing the next week!!

i've got 4 exams over 2-week period starting
next thurs 17/6. 2nd year commerce student.
Can't wait for semester break!
Good luck to everyone taking exams!

one of our rotational lectures for WWII History this semester was like that. he was german, and if he had to say a german word, e.g. lebensraum. his next couple of sentences would be spoken in rapid-fire german. until at which point he realised his mistake and muttered 'shizen!' hahaha.
My Civil Eng lecturer is the worst... speaks really bad english and everytime he tried to say point load (a type of loading on a structure) it comes out as porno and combine that with the various other words he can't say properly it comes up with pretty funny combinations.
And to top it off.. he has no idea why everyone just had a little chuckle and he gets pissed and has to wait for everyone.
i got 4 exams in 3 weeks
shame this is the hardest year of the degree
but seriously, who is going to the eastern uni games?
