I would agree. THis mixer takes some getting used to. the sound quality however is superb. You shoulda gave it some more time before switching it in

lol, bad decision? I want a mixer that I feel comfortable with, not one that everyone else seems to think is great.
In terms of the headphone out sound, it was pretty bad. I have a Denon DX 400, and when using the headphones, the sound is very clear...the beats are easily heard and distinguished....the same with my DJM 600. I thought I was going crazy, because everyone sweats the shit out of the Xone: 62...
I'm teaching my gf how to spin, and I left her alone with the A and H for a few hours to practice while I was at work the other day. She calls me hysterical because all of a sudden she can't nail beatmatches, because she can't hear and sitinguish the beats over each other. It was weird that she described it like that, because that was my first impression of the mixer using it for a whole day. I've never experienced a mixer that has sounded like this while using headphones. I exchanged it for the DJM and love it. It has a completely comfortable feel, and the sound is awesome.

what does having MIDI outputs on the mixer do? so you can link it to cubase and use it as an external mixer of something? or use it in traktor as a mixer?

I just figured out why i was getting the main mix through the AUX Eq ... the XFader has an AUX Out knob and I didn't realize it wasn't turned down ...
