unemployed for 19 years... and i love it!!
yeah, not having a job sucks. I just finished my first year of uni, and I can't even find a summer job. I am at the point where I m trying to get a job with Greenpeace. It's sad.
I've got a good shot at a job working for the state for 11 weeks this summer. It's the graveyard shift, working from 10PM to 6AM. I figure I can sleep from 6:30AM to around 2PM and have the afternoon to spend with my girlfriend, parents, etc.
The wage is too much to pass up. $14.57 an hour, 40 hours a week. That's about $6,400 for the summer, before taxes. Not bad for less than three months of work between school years.
I suppose you could say im unemployed at the minute. Im a second year computing science student, and for third year your supposed to find a placement. I haven't got one, all my mates started last week and i probably won't get one to september. Scunnered sitting round the house doing odd jobs etc.
Unemployed, but it's different for me I think.
I live in Whistler, so I still get to snowboard everyday.
That's what I do with my time
Well i've got the greatest job but i've been off sick for 2 weeks and I love it. I just sit around have a mix and i've really had to do stuff that I never usally get round to like learning cubase / reason and my synths. I don't want to go back for at least a couple of weaks and It won't be the same cos all the collage girls won't be on the trains any more ( I'am one of them cu*ts that check your tickets and make you pay )
Well I can't be doing that bad....4 interviews in 7 days...things are looking up.
I have a job and draw retirement to boot!
Money not big prob...
