I heard his set in Vancouver was a terrible show! Glad I didn't drop my $ on this wack display of Djing. oakie went and did some lines Fot all high), was an ass to people that were asking him for autographs politely, played boaring tracks and left half an hour early from his set....
Not impressed with Oakie. I'd save my $.

Good turn out!.. Thanks for all that showed up and partied it up til 3AM! :P.. anyhow I agree that Oakey was being a snot but overall his set was decent, could have play more newer tracks tho. Also for those that want to know his mixing, It isn't his fault completely, the booth setup wasn't the greatest, the booth monitors were too low, they used those ortofon knockoff cartridges, those banana ones which tracked like crap even after i balanced and set them and put about 5 grams of tracking force on them, the booth also set up like ass and they didn't put the turntable pillows until part way into Paul's set.. so i don't blame him completely, My mixing on the system was even rough but i am not a pro
Dave Stone tore that place down, IMO. Holy fuck did he drop some mean tracks.

Your mixing was fine, dude.
It was better than Oak's, in my opinion.
The best part of my night was after Oak's set was finished, anyway.
