so what is the next good show in line ... Oaki ? at PNE

whens oaky here?
An awesome night
Well gang, as a newbie here and to trance, i have to say i had an awesome night seeing Tiesto for the first time. I had nothing to measure against so to me it was a great night!!
I expected him to start playing sooner than midnight though, so i was dissapointed that it ended at 2:30am. The lighting did kinda suck......youre right on there guys, and i expected at least a small laser in a venue that size! It would have been nice to have a little more light on the star of the show too as you could barely see him sometimes. I even jokingly said to my buddie is that really him or an impersonator.....lol.
I only recognized a couple of tracks but i enjoyed all of what he played(just should have gone on longer). The sound wasn't as good as i thought it would be after listening to what other Ta's had said about the Commodore. The mid and high's seemed too low ,almost drowned out by too much bass and reverberation especially on the upper floor.
It would be great to see him perform in a bigger venue someday but i guess we have to go to the states or Europe to see that.
All in all though.....a great night!
The crowd seemed to be having a great time.

Good times last night
Whats happening imanjace!
izvini za sinoc sto smo onako morali da zapalimo kuci iznenada...
drago mi je da smo se upoznali u svako slucaju
Well what can I say I;ll keep the review short!
"Dad" did a pretty good job last night heheh
lots of good tunes that were expected and some that were kinda lower on the energy scale...
pretty good flow of the night although maybe unecessary kinda progy middle part... could be left out...
all in all great night with my friends and dancing my ass off for the first time in many years
yes I am getting old
and I noticed that he wasnt all that energetic and into his set as he can be and as I saw him before... his 2001 show was his most energetic one I saw... the year after that he was not in the mood at all and then last year he was so so into it...
last he seemed to have more interaction then the last years benson and hedges show but still not much in my opinion
I guess as mortyman said now he is on the top and you cant really compare the shit from years back...
Lighting was also very minimal and the stage setup was pretty ghetto... like nobody important was coming to play. pretty strange.
even with all this I still had a good time with friends and a lot of folks I know from our little community.
it was also good that he stayed a little bit at the end to do some signing as well as give out some signed records.
This afternoon around 6pm on CityTV was a little segment on the party at the commodore and him last night.
That little brown dude prepeared a copule of minutes on him. a little parts of the interview with him outside somewhere in vancouver and clips from the last nights show.
that reporter came to the venue at the same time I did... I saw him at the door getting in.
ya it is true that there were a lot of messed up people. at least as much as I noticed. also most of the babes were with their gorillas so ya that was pretty sweet...
Thats as much as I can remember for now
Another memorable night and it seemed everybody was enjoying themselves

I've also almost caught one vinyl, I jumped so high to catch it and then it hit the back of my hand and flew out
, and some chick got it .. I was so pissed .. but oh well . next time he has to throw them a little higher and further

I thought it was a great show. MAINER, too bad I didnt see you and your buddy once you got in. I got my flag signed, anyone get a picture of him holding it up??? I tried to get a pic of him holding it up, but I was worried the vinyl he autographed for me was gonna get stolen. I would really appreciate it if someone who snapped a pic of him holding it could post it or post a link. Me and a group of ppl waited out back of the commodore til 4am but he never showed he must have gotten out early or went out the front. It was great meeting more TAs. You guys have to let me know when you come down to Seattle! The vinyl he passed down to me was D.T V A.B- Take My Hand white label promo. I will post pix I took later. I thought he wasn't at his best, but it still was a great show. Kevin did a great job opening. Lighting could have been WAY better, and where was the laser????

I may have caught a pic of him and your flag. Not sure though because it's a disposable camera and I gotta wait til I get the whole film finished. I snapped so many pics, I have no idea what I got on there, but I'll let you know.
Alright, thanks Mortyman. I would appreciate it if anyone posts up a pic or link to a pic of him holding up the flag.

hey hey everyone, late reply buuut
had a GREAT TIME! thank god for ids heh spend most of the time with DJ Dovla, which was cool, also saw sothis and a few other TAs I forget the name of also waited round back with RaveMedic for a few hours, but Tiesto evaded us first time seeing tiesto live and just wow, thats all I have to say I think the crowd was pretty good actually, but maybe thats just cause im used to the whole youngish raver people that I dislike oh so much even though I am young, im not a tard
best part was when I shoved my way to the front at the end and was the first person to request a signature heh I reached out with my copy of love comes again and tiesto looked at me in a sorta ugh, fine way when I begged him hahahah, but he took it, and signed it, then tossed it back and continued to spin even BETTER was when he tossed out a white label promo copy of Vincent de Moor!!!! Tracks are A. Nebula , B1. Yellow Subway, and B2. No Hesitation
2 SIGNED VINYLS!!! WHAT A NIGHT!!!!

and he played original mix of love comes again
damn I was close to catching one of those vinyls he threw down hehe
and this time they were not bitches about getting the cameras in so the flashes were going off all over the place.
well the few pics that I got wont be developed for some time probably anyway but thats ok cause other folks with digital cameras took plenty.
thank you all for sharing the pics and videos
and thanks to tvmann for recording the clip about him from TV.
ya he finished with an encore of 12" montana edit of traffic
and I was surprised that people were not digging dream machine all that much
how can you not go nutts on that tune hehe
well maybe I am exagerating here but seriously I thought that track will rock the crowd.
I thought ppl would go crazy for Dream Machine too. At least I did... felt like a lot of ppl didn't even recognize that track. It was hard for me to ID a lot of the tracks because it sounded like Tiesto had the bass tweaked high.
yaya

ID
CAN ANYONE ID THE TRACK FROM THAT INTERVIEW WITH TIESTO ON VANCOUVER TV!!! AND DONT SAY TRAFFIC I KNOW THAT
