For anybody who knows Hockey over here in Canada and the US, it's the same with Toronto Maple Leaf fans. They haven't won jack shit since 1967, but are always hyped up by the press and always expected to win, yet never do. I guess England is in the same situation...they are the Leafs of football. But I still love them.

Just because we lost it doesn't mean we can't air our views on the game, good or bad. Try to imagine if the situation had been reversed - would you take your own advice? Believe me, the result still hasn't sunk in for most people yet. If you're passionate about football you can only put it to the back of your mind for so long. Everyone here is gutted but we are also taking positives from the performance, and yes, we are looking towards the Switzerland game now because it's crucial.
