I am getting really exited for this, last week I saw Sasha and he was mind blwoing but now I am coming off that high and am ready for a new rush! But seriously this is gonna rock hard, I know Tiesto will bring it! I just hope they still have some VIP's left on friday, cuz I dont have my ticket yet.
I also hope to get Cubs/sox tickets for Sunday after Tiesto

If there is any meetup beforehand I won't be able to attend as I'm trying to figure out the situation with my four friends before I can do anything else. Hopefully you guys can get together, otherwise check to the right of the DJ booth some of us are usually along that balcony.

yeah, as i sit here and listen to Tiesto's mix of Adagio for Strings (and remembering how f*#$cking awesome it was when Armin played it), i continue to try to convince myself that Summerfest > Tiesto.

tonight is going to hurt. i only lasted 90 minutes at the summerstage afterset last night and still not fully recovered. ill probably hangout on the sides as usual. just a lot of head bobbing tonite for me tonite

So I made myself some dinner, now I am trying to decide if I want a disco nap or not....hmmm.

I could not handle it anymore, and as I told everything0 when he asked if I got my 40 bucks worth, every minute I stayed was making my time there worth less.

I liked a lot of the tracks I heard, but the flow was bad and his mixing was not nearly what one would expect from a top10 dj, much less the "#1". I actually was enjoying the flow from the guys opening more than from Tiesto.

Maybe it was just me.....I dunno. I just really wasn't impressed.

But now I have seen him so I am allowed to comment.

Ok - so I went in with very low expectations - and I have to say that Tiesto did a fine job - the place was packed all night and he played some really good tracks. However, his mixing was non-existent, it seemed to me that he did very little, if any, mixing and was just dropping tracks. I probably danced the most that I've danced at a trance event in a long time - so that to me says that Tiesto did a good job.

Tiesto was also very interactive with the crowd - which was nice. I don't remember him being that way that last time I saw him about 2 years ago.

All in all another enjoyable night - now off to lay in the sun
