I have to agree with that.... Tiesto that night seemed disinterested ...all these top Dj's are like machines, one day here the next day at another place...its not about the music... The last time I had a really good time was when Dave Seaman and Junkie were in town. They were really in tuned with the crowd.

however, I am going to PVD, Global G & Armin.

its almost like they are one hit wonders however in clubland the music/track's popularity lasts a little longer than that of pop music...

i was listening to the northern exposure series lastnight and completely blown away @ the fact that these cd's are still @ the top for me......ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!

artists like pvd & tiesto will have great mixes but neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever as timeless as sasha & digweed's northern exposure series...

This will be my first time seeing tha man...as of now I think he is a fucking genuis.

I am sure I will love his set, hopefully a lot more then tiesto's, I found it very blah. I've looked at some of Paul's recent tracklists, and I think they look excellent, I am excited to hear many of those trax live !!

RJ, about your "three stikes your out" policey with Paul, that puts so much pressure on this thursday !! Well I hope it all works out for you...

I had a great time hearing PVD in Oct'03 at KH though...but I heard negative comments about his shows since then, including in Miami.

Response: I'm going to PVD, I think you should go too

Worm Popper looking foward to PVD

i dont know about you guys but im super excited about PVD this thursday, all i hope for is that the guvernment is not overcrowed like it was at tiesto, its so hard to dance when its that hot and crowded, and secondly i hope that those damn whistlers are not there so we can fully enjoy the sounnds of a legend like PVD. hoping for a great night of hardcore trance with true fans of the music.

Posted by idream on Jun-21-2004 04:13:

Oh ya I agree . I do not want to hear the fucking whistlers again this time around.

I didn't really hear then that much during Tiesto's set just because I was haveing amazing time. But near the end of the night I just wanted to step on all the whistlers.

I haven't seen PVD b4 so this sould be a really sick night !

Cya there and all the other TA's that are going !

I just want soooo badly for PvD to show me why he deserves to be #2.

Posted by Matt on Jun-21-2004 05:25:

who?

Posted by trancechaos on Jun-21-2004 07:22:

he is number 2, since when is he number 3????

Posted by rubyriva on Jun-21-2004 13:37:

more excited for this night then for central park/spirit.

but i am really nervous that guv is going to be WAY too packed and i will not be a happy camper.

paul doesn't seem to spin really well in canada...we'll see if he changes that on thursday.

32 times thursday night...

Posted by djeso on Jun-21-2004 14:05:

another pvd bashing thread .... somehow I've
seen this more then once before, last performance at koolhouse he was
phenaminal, at bal en blanc not as phenaminal, but whats with all
the negativaty, may there is too much expectation from him.

Posted by High on PSI on Jun-21-2004 14:08:

LOL... its because be it Tiesto, PVD, or Armin, or whomever, theyres always someone out there bashing someone else... who cares

Posted by Ninjapimp on Jun-21-2004 15:54:

Dunno

PVD kicks ass. End Of story.

I'll be there in full effect.

Rasta

need some help locating tickets. Im in Markham, where would the best place I can score tickets, other than online. Ive already tried Funky Boodah, and they only have Global Gathering tix. Help..thanks

Posted by Ortemy on Jun-21-2004 16:44:

Whatever! Less hype = more room to dance ! PVD always plays good sets in my opinion, I have not heard one live set that I did not like, except for Cream Amnesia 2003 where tracklisting was amazing, but mixing was crap for some reason, or may be he was just getting used to final scratch at that time ; )

Posted by DJ Ski on Jun-21-2004 17:05:

PvD plays just plays a slightly different style than most other DJs. Some people don't like it, that's fine. Personally, I think what he plays is amazing, much better than Tiesto, Armin, or anyone else I've heard.

Posted by Funkyfun on Jun-21-2004 20:46:

I am looking forward to PVD..saw him at KH in oct 2003 for the 1st time and was impressed to say the least...had an amazing time..Just hoping that Guv won't be as packed for this event as it was for Tiesto

Posted by oleshka on Jun-21-2004 20:48:

He damn well better play a good set! I'm bringing several people who aren't big trance fans and haven't been to a big trace gig before so first impression is always important. Also, last thing i would want is for them is just to stand there and have a bad time...very contegious that is

Posted by mot10n on Jun-21-2004 20:50:

i hope i'll be up for this.. feeling down and out with some virus.. throat feels like sandpaper.. work damn you antibiotics, work! this better clear up, cuz i dont want to miss pvd, and waste $27.

Posted by oleshka on Jun-21-2004 20:58:

does anybody actualy know what time or approximately what time he is supposed to come on?

thanks

edit-*time
