Good luck bringing him to Anfield...he is, and always has been, an Evertonian. I think he will stick it out there for a few more seasons but eventually the money will probably get to him. Everton is such a great club with probably the best history in England. I hope Rooney can help build a new Everton.

everton will never keep him for a few more seasons hes only got 2 years left on his contract and his agent has told him not to negotiate a new one till after the euro everton need to cash in on him before they lose him on a free transfer

a load of crap. ryan was born in Cardiff to welsh parents, BUT he went to school in england which meant he was ledgible to play for England Schoolboys.

oh ok...can't remember where I heard that. But it's still a pity he's Welsh.

I know there's little loyalty in sports these days, but Rooney has said he wants to stay with Everton. I don't see the difference between 45,000 pounds a week and 60,000...you're a rich ****** either way. But I hope he stays...screw United or Chelsea.

there is a story that suggests alex ferguson told giggs to play for wales to spite the english

BBC? I doubt it since it has "fucking Jesus" screaming on top. It's a hoax site but nevertheless very funny...
