Lol, yeah I was thinking that too, unless there's a more upbeat remix of it.

Posted by Gladius on Jun-24-2004 11:10:

havannah for sure, although white room is very good too.

Posted by Sand Leaper on Jun-24-2004 11:10:

White Room has punch and uses a few clever tricks like the mashed up Remember vocals and that bleepy synth. Havannah is just awful guitar fluff tripe that has no energy, edge or bite whatsoever.

Posted by Gladius on Jun-24-2004 11:16:

lol why should it have energy?

Because if it doesn't it's boring as? And no, energy does not necessarily = speed or big riffs etc.

Smoking ..umm..something

I reckon both rock - each tune has its own respective sound - what more can you ask??

I think a track's energy level can be measured by the nature of the sounds used. For instance, a pounding acid techno track that pummels along at 150 BPM is energetic, yet a minimal house track with a short, snappy bassdrum, overriden cymbals and distortion can also be energetic. Take for instance Spektrum - Kinda New (Tiefschwarz Dub). Its distorted synth along with the beats, short electro chords and vocals make for a quite energetic tune, yet it runs at your usual house speed and doesn't have any big riffs.

i prefer Chable & Bonnici - Ride

quite similar to white room but imo better

Posted by M@rc on Jun-24-2004 12:49:

I would go for Havannah..

Love them both and I agree that you can't really compare them, but Havannah had a way better impact on me the first time..

White Room

if you're going to ask a question like that.. you should just have gone ahead and made a poll

HAvanna all the way for me

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Jun-24-2004 14:43:

I don't like either but I'd choose White Room because at least it's not generic boring drivel.

Posted by noikeee on Jun-24-2004 17:01:

white room is something special

havannah is just a good production on the guitar-summer-trance standart

Posted by Subtle on Jun-24-2004 19:33:

Adam White and Andy Moor presents. White Room - The White Room

havannah is a little cheesish

Posted by dbl on Jun-24-2004 19:47:

Evil1 white room pwnz j00

Havannah is... nice. Guitar melody gives me goosebumps - but halfway through th song I get real bored. White Room - White Room is just fucking amazing! The Remember vocals were tweaked awesomely, great bass, interesting arrangement, awesome electro lead, it all is just great.

Not that Havannah is a bad track, but hands down, White Room pwns it.
