Josh Wink - Higher State of Consciousness

When I first heard it I was standing right next to the speaker and I think I've lost some of my hearing in my left ear because of the high frequency noises in that song. At the time, I was WTf is this??? A few years later I find the cd in a bargain bin, listened to it a few times, then ended up hammering it and absolutely loving it. Still have no idea why i like it so much cos basically the whole song is just some guy tweeking a 303.

I skipped over Cloudwalking somehow when Gatecrasher Disco Tech came out...it's now my fav song of all time

At first, I couldn't believe how much better Armin's remix of Moogwai - viola was over the original...now, I think they both rock in their own way

And pretty much anything my Gabriel and Dresden...at first, I was like what the hell is this boring crap...now, I see how talented they really are.

I used to hate Tiesto - Traffic until I heard PvD drop it one night...massive!

Also, I disliked Solid Globe - North Pole and Holden's Nothing (93 Returning Mix) when they first came out.

Believe it or not - Southern Sun, and the same thing happened to me with Balance 005, I kind of scanned through it but then I listened to it all over and over and I loved it. I guess I just don't pay attention a lot of the time

Sometimes a tune has to be played REALLY loud to appreciate it

How about Just Be. Not just the song but the entire album. Once I woke up and realized that it wasn't In My Memory, nor was it supposed to be In My Memory I was able to appreciate it much more. Just Be actually turned out to be one hell of an album IMO.

I didn't like just be (the CD) that much until I went to the release party for it. Hearing most of the tracks live got me hooked.

I also hated burned with desire until the rising star mix came out. Same with velvet morning, I had no respect for that track until I heard the micro de govia remix. A little remix here and there can change my mind about a track !

That first song makes me wanna break stuff and as for Traffic ... I hated it from the start (TIC)

I can't believe anyone on TA actually likes that O-zone song

I thinks most of the tracks I've seen in this thread, couldn't catch a single ear at the first time you listened to them. Many had the same feeling to me too!
