Posted by Charlie_mac on Jul-02-2004 14:14:

i must say, i really like it! very pumping. would certainly go off in a club!!

Posted by montana on Jul-02-2004 15:29:

well, this this was a thriving & energetic thing, very nice, i can really feel the bass pouring all over me, also nice that you don't go into a full breakdown, as i thought would really kill the mood, and that melody is nice. cheers

Posted by Luke Terry on Jul-02-2004 17:55:

Cool

i was intending to play this out last nite but totally forgot haha oops

Posted by DJ Terraplex on Jul-02-2004 19:43:

Hey John

The intro synths sound quality, so do the arps, a bit like Tiesto, bass is good to! Breakdown is quality, and the lead synth is aswell, is all top stuff, gonna play this without a doubt. Sounds like something on the Spinnin label!!!

Liking it

Alex

Cool track mate, reminded me alot of 'Rvdb - Timeless' since it has sort of the same style.

I'm personally for a bit more varied melodies, but I could see me going at this in a club

Take care,
Wim

good tune, not my style though

Begin is good. Nice sounds. Nice distored clap, but the begin is maybe a little bit to long. Nice subbasses.
The track is going on... Now the track bores me a bit. The melodie is a bit simple, but catchy. Try to put more variation in the track.

Posted by soundrush on Jul-05-2004 15:20:

ohh man, what a wicked production. remimnds me of paul van dyk's columbia. no cutup form my side (we are playing different league)

cheers, niklas.

Well I've always hated this Askew/PvD style so this track does absolutely nothing for me... I can hear it's well made though.

Posted by JohnOC on Jul-05-2004 16:04:

typical mystery reply
hehe

Posted by Zero Frequency on Jul-06-2004 12:39:

Hey man! Pure quality!

I really like the sounds (though they ARE pretty much the same PvD / Askew use as Mystery said), mixing, structure and the fact that there actually isn't a distinctive melody - the song just keeps on driving!

I'm bored to the basic "over-melodic trance" so this kind of stuff works well for me at the moment.

Well, just to let you know.

Posted by Frase on Jul-06-2004 13:52:

Very Askew style

Send this off to labels mate, it'll get somewhere!

Posted by JohnOC on Jul-06-2004 14:06:

Cool

thanks everyone!

Posted by pho mo on Jul-07-2004 03:40:

top notch! i would definitely get messed if i heard this out, especially around the 3:30 mark.

nice huge synths!

how is this a tech trance? more like hard trance

Posted by Timothy on Jul-07-2004 13:22:

Great track The lead at 3:40 is extremely boring because you repeat it too much in the song. Anyway, it's really good

hard trance being the sister of hard house but with trance bits in

tech trance is like Mark Norman and some of John Askews stuff hence the association

hehe at 3:40...well if i put more hours into this im sure i could improve it, but whats the point since most people seem to enjoy it as it is.

if it was for release of course id improve it...but its fine for playing as is
