I like it... esp that remix of F massif - somebody if u consider that electro, still trance to me

Big props to Guv's policy of having two room with different two sounds for big events like Labour of Love. If nothing else, it avoid board conflicts on who should get top billing. I'll be happy if they can sort out a trance room and a prog house room each with their respective DJ's who the fans prefere.

Since there's probably only a handfull of trance DJ's i'd still want to hear live, i'm still keeping my fingers crossed on the Guv bringing down a better act then Deep Dish to represent the prog house scene.

Hell, get Hernan or Kasey Taylor down here...better yet, book Digital Witchcraft to play a Live PA and i'll die a happy man

hey, i have an open mind... i like ferry, but my gf raves about deep dish... i saw them for about 5 min when mark oliver was spinning after pvd in the KH in october... needless to say Mark O was pinnin wikked tunes so i didnt give Deepe dish much of a chance... Also dave seaman @ decadence ithought was really good... but Junkie XL was wayyyy better

poor SLEEP DISH!!!

***SASHA SASHA SASHA***

Actually their Toronto GU CD is excellent but I couldn't party to that kinda stuff live really...that CD is amazing sex music but if i had to choose banging sounds or them....well no offence to any deep dish fans but it's just not the same

Posted by BitchBoyNYC on Jul-05-2004 19:35:

I like Deep Dish alot. Never saw Ferry live anywhere. I'm a PVD muppet, but always open to seeing new dj's. I love Junkie XL too. Sander Kleinenberg is awesome. I'd love to see him play there that weekend.

Totally unrelated, but I just saw your sig. I just bought a Leg GT too! Atlantic Blue. First one in Toronto, although it's not the only one now.

im lookin forward to infusion and the dish are always good...

i add a for creamfields

Posted by discojoe on Jul-05-2004 21:16:

Montreal will have CREAM rave at the bell center with 10 000 people that weekend. John Digweed, Deep Dish, Ferry Corsten, Desyn Masiello and I think another headliner to be announced. With JFL behind it this year it should be good. I heard LOL is always over packed and people usually come back disapointed. It will be packed too at cream but at least it wont be hot. May want to check it out. There will also be Dave Clark and Misstress Barbara two nights before at aria.

JunkieXL was by far the best that night.

I really doubt Sander will be there. He's been in with the people at boa for a while and apparently they've been all over him like a fat kid on a cupcake for a quarterly residency there. Doubt the guv will snag him away from that sweet ass system for a party at the pshh! guv.

Posted by Chinaman on Jul-05-2004 23:18:

As for Labour of Love, I hope it's on the Saturday or something... Will Diggers, Ferry and whoever else is going to CREAM in Montral really take a jet from TO to MTL at like 7 - 8am?

On the MASTERLIST it still has LOL '04 pegged as Sun Sept 5 but that's the day CREAM is on and tickets are already being sold so that date is as good as concrete.

I really would like to know when the Guv is having their LOL party tho.

As for Sander, he may be back at Boa during Thanksgiving (Canadian - OCT) or in November.

...I just want Ferry Corsten back here in TO, that's all!

americans love coming here and going to guv. guv def has a good sound system and brings out a lot of ppl. the decor of the club is pretty nice IMO. it doesn't attract an exetremly hip or undergroud crowd, a lot of 905'ers, but it's always a lot of ppl who are there to party and they bring in good talent for great prices. I've had some of my best party nights at guv- i think you will have a great time
