I'm sure some people have already got it, and it was plastered in my sig for a while (not that many took any notice ) so feel free to sign me up to some por... er, add me to your MSN.

EDIT: What's all this about spyware etc?? Is MSN Messenger full of it or something??

tbh I think the spyware thing is a myth/paranoia, I've never come across any conclusive evidence

The adverts are annoying though.

Adaware/Spybot + Messenger Plus; and Ive never had one of those pop up adverts that others get with MSN.

I do, however, have my IE security settings very high, as I dont use all that much. Perhaps that has something to do with it too.

Thats pretty paranoid jeff. Windows messenger is a part of xp so if microsoft wanted to stick stufff in they could just put it in the OS. Why bother putting it in the messenger. And while messenger products are used for idle chit chat they can also be used for techsupport internal to multi locationed companies. And even if they did spy on you what would they find? Your not higing osama are you?

msn doesnt have any spyware, it was the msn plus thingemy which did, and that was nothing to do with microsoft.

Well msn 6 has a cutomer support feature but you cabn quite happily say no to. However there are a quite a few third party messengers that arnt safe. Trillian for example was riddled with bad shit.
