For those interested, my friends and i are throwing a preparty two blocks away from the necto at the corner of jefferson and thompson (dubblies' house). All TAs are invited so I expect to see a few familiar faces show up. We'll have a keg or two.. More info to come..

Attention Tranceaddicts:

The Tradition Continues...

Zabielia is less than a week away, and what better way to get excited than to post my first ever pre-party for an Ann Arbor event. Thursday night should be a great night!

Location: MY HOUSE (DUBBLIES, aka. Garrett)
502 Thompson St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104

Please arrive between 7 and 8, earlier if you want. We will try and get to the club before James goes on for sure.

The house is mostly brown with yellow pillars. Its on the corner of Jefferson and Thompson St. There is a 4 foot stone porch on the side facing Jefferson. Thompson St. is one block west of State Street for those of you coming from out of town likely to get lost. Parking can be found anywhere on Jefferson, and the other random side streets.

The house is literally 2 blocks from the club.

If anyone is a dj and would like to spin, let me know and we can set that up. I know like 2 people that might beable to pull together something.

Oh yea, one more thing, no cops!

I don't know about the afterparty, but I could deffinetely host the Binzo warm-up.

I'd have to play early..maybe 7-8 or so? What time are people getting there? This is going to be a marathon weekend for me...hour set @ dubbs' place, then 3 hours @ necto, then opening for mark oliver @ bleu on friday, then my 5-hour residency on saturday for the frequency 2 year anniversary party, then a private gig on sunday...i'm going to be deaf

Binzo will not be spinning at my place. Sorry to those that were hoping for that, but I have no equipment for him to use. If anybody can help me out with that, I think it would be sweet.

Dubbies, my one friend that is coming with me is bringing his records and wants to know if it is okay for him to spin at the preparty. He spins dnb so I will understand if you don't want him too. Although he is pretty good, I must say.

Just come in early, it's only $5 cover before 10 anyway..plus $2 long islands & $1 PBR...

He is more than welcome to spin. Binzo backed out because there is not equipment yet, so as long as either your friend brings some tables. Oh, the only tables we have access to are cd tables too. These are all problems I know, but regardless there will be music.

Oh, and the Chicago kids have up a post stating that Zabiela will be at the Soundbar tonight. But they are mistaken, he'll be there Friday. We've got him in Ann Arbor, don't worry.

The Party is Starting Shortly!!!!!

I have to express how gutted I am about missing this party.

You can all write to United Airlines and blame them. There was a technical fault on the plane and I spent most of the day sat on the runway, when we did get going it was too late 11 hours travelling got me absolutely no where.

I'm pretty sad about the whole thing as this is the first gig I've ever missed in North America.

I vow to come back as soon as I can.

Yeah I was pretty excited to see Zabiela spin live... ah well it's not his fault.

The only good news is there was no cover so I was able to have gas money to drive 1 1/2 hours home, otherwise... Zabiela's phat beats may have stranded me

I apologize to everyone who came out to see James, however I hope that you still enjoyed the music, and plan to come out again when we reschedule this show.
I hope to get the show rescheduled soon (hopefully august/early september), since next week is supposed to be the fundamental finale..
thanks again to everyone who stuck around to hear me and Scott play..
