I think the word Clubbing sounds lame too me

But yeah i guess you can say i go "Clubbing" but only on teen night(LAME) And clubs here in houston you wont hear any trance, mostly cheese if you do,they mostly play hip hop/house.But sometimes there EDM Events here that are all ages.

Back when i lived in Mexico city i would enter clubs and Bouncers wouldnt say shit.Well actually you would have to bribe them some money.which sometimes they had some big name EDm dj's.
Let me tell you a little secreat about mexico, every works around bribes, and yes expecially the gov.

ive never been to many events to be honest or to many clubs that play trance, being in liverpool, we have this dominant music style called "scouse house". Its a bit cheesey and simple, but hard. Steve Murano usually goes down well here, so does Ultrabeat as you can imagine . Anyways, the north west of England is totally dominated by house music like this, theres hardly any trance playing clubs except for the Cream @ Nation nights

coming to that, ive only ever been to one trance night/club and that was PvD/Nu-NRG @ Cream last May for the Ibiza opening party :P . I am going to Creamfields in August, as well as DanceValley 2004 in August

Posted by Stephenox on Jul-13-2004 15:36:

I'm too young to club, so no, I'm one of you!

quelle coincidence

Posted by beats and beeps on Jul-13-2004 16:19:

Too young, but probably wont do it that much when i am of age. The whole "clubbing" or "raving" or whatever doesnt really appeal to me, i'd probably only go when i want to see a good dj.

So I guess Cleveland isn't that bad... there are a few clubs here that play trance every once in awhile. Some house too - mostly at the gay clubs - so yes, I go clubbing

The US sucks club wise, if your city has a good rave scene you are lucky as hell! Thx god I live in the PNW!!!

Raves here = locals AND big names, and its still called a rave.

Clubs suck btw.

What a bunch of trash, sounds like you dont go to the right places...

Posted by jessicah on Jul-13-2004 17:31:

I'm not into clubbing. I mean I'll go if a friend asks or if there's someone I want to see, but I just don't like the whole club scene. You have to get all slutted up and dance your ass off. Well you don't HAVE to, but if you don't you just look and consequently feel odd and out of place. Some girls like getting all fixed up and dancing around and looking hot for the guys. I guess that's just not my thing.

Posted by jwear2004 on Jul-13-2004 17:32:

I don't, because I can't. It sucks being 18, because on the east coast there are some clubs that are 18+, but good luck finding one of those in California; they're all 21+. Bah humbug. I guess I'll have to wait three more years (or find alternative methods of getting in ).

No, Cleveland isnt bad at all. There's much to do if you look around downtown. Shocking, huh?

Really? I didn't know that. And no, I don't get out too much.

How's the trance scene here? From what I've heard, it's mostly dnb.

Posted by Minhaj on Jul-13-2004 21:51:

i cant go clubbin
im only 15
but i listen to trance all the time

Posted by szuchy on Jul-13-2004 22:20:

I'm old enough, but don't go to clubs or raves. I just listen to the music is all.

Posted by travbrad on Jul-13-2004 22:56:

Whenever there's actually something worth going to, i'll go. It's been like 5 months since there was a DECENT event here, and that wasn't even very good, just decent.

Posted by on Jul-13-2004 23:00:

Thats one hell of a scary thought... Not clubbing when you listen to trance..
I go clubbing, but only when there is a DJ worth going to see...

Posted by goonerjack on Jul-13-2004 23:53:

Too young... but gimme a couple of years and i'll be clubbing!

Posted by Lotus on Jul-14-2004 00:33:

Since some people talk about "decent" events, I'm trying to find out what is a reasonable number of people for a "decent" event? I know regular parties vs. massives are two different things, but what's the normal attendance of a regular "rave" for you guys.

Where I'm located a good crowd usually ranges from 250-500, or 600 at a "rave".

Posted by SXC on Jul-14-2004 00:51:

Now the average 17 year old can get thru to clubs here in the uk.

im not your average 17 year old:

thats basicaly what i look like with blue hair or blonde hair

Posted by icedale on Jul-14-2004 01:01:

Not going often, only to a few.
Got no company to go

Posted by emander on Jul-14-2004 01:02:
