I know iv said this before but i spinn Breaks and im really big into 110+ records and only been spinning them for about 2 years...

but yes they are 4/4 like trance
just say a trance song is usually 140 - 145 bpm breaks are like 130 -135, but you want to match up the snares in Trance and breaks
the snares both happen on 2 and 4 in both styles

though Trance is like
boom tic boom tic
1 2 3 4
and Breaks is like
booooom tic boom boom tic
1 2 3 4

so its like this on a 4/4 scale
Trance
|Kxxx-Sxxx-Kxxx-Sxxx|

Breaks
|Kxxx-SxxK-xxKx-Sxxx|
K= Kick drum
S= Snare
x= blank sapce

I hope i helped clarify some things

Hey... WHY NOT?

I heard it thousand of times...
Here.. in Indonesia.. The local Club play some local songs..
which mean Club Trance/Hardcore with 4/4Beat(KickClapKickClap) is mixed into Breaky/Funky Beat Which (KickSnareKickKickSnare)....
Have u heard Groove Coverage - God Is A Girl With FunkyBeat n 160BPM above?? Most of the song is remixed like that.. but sure there is also 4/4 Beat with 160BPm above

When they make fading transaction between 4/4 Beat And Breaky/FunkyBeat... it sound just like another BreakBeat...
SO..:
KickClapKickClap + KickSnareKickKickSnare = KickSnareKickKickKickSnare...
it sound like another beat...

And what i learn from them is...

Beatmatch The CLap/Snare.. Mess Around with the High on ur mixer.. and while transacting u create another Breaky/Funky Beat and End it with Surprise... Breakbreakybreaky and suddenly... A 4/4 Hard Beat!!

I will try to post sample here...
Happy Trying.. Trust me is not difficult..
CHEERS!

Cool

all tracks that im aware of all have a beat on the first 16th of every bar, whether it be breaks or trance and is what you should reference to if u get stuck beatmatching

I've managed to mix in the Hybrid remix of Conjure One - Tears from the Moon. Does that count?
