Well i guess i'm the one portraying him as a "stoner", but i really never professed any love for sasha in the first place so it's not like it can be said that i'm framing him. Jayx1 you need to chill up off the conspiracy theory, and relax. Maybe you'd find TA to be a better place when you aren't throwing around accusations all the time.

1) It is an issue... The apology that was posted was the biggest piece of shit apology I have ever seen... like someone pointed out, they probably had the template ready for times like these.

2) Calling Sasha a stoner is putting it lightly... At the WMC quite a few years back two very 'well-connected' friends of mine witnessed him do close to 30 pills in a single night.

And how exactly does he disagree with everyone? Because he supposedly told Mark Oliver it wasn't packed and then Mark relayed this information to you while you were giving him Mark his daily blow job?

jay, i tend to agree w/ you some of the time and i try to be as unbiased as possible:

if guv issued an apology then they are recognizing that this is an isuue. maybe not all, but some ppl seemed to find the club to be too packed. you can be sure that if any other club was packed beyond comfort this would be noted on here. perhaps ppl here are more vocal about it b/c we go out all the time, and we do have higher expectations.

and sasha may be a world class DJ, and he may be well-loved, but that doesn't take away from the well-known fact that dude loves his blow.

and when you don't have these situations at other clubs, then you notice it all the more so when it does happen.

besides, when other people get in the way of my enjoyment of a set, i get a little pissed off. besides, unless sasha's down there getting squished, he doesn't know how crowded it is.

when that many people complain about something, it's an issue. it's come up time and time again with guv. i remember at one party way back when being fucking afraid for my life cos there were so many people that i was so squished i couldn't breathe for a few seconds. and i'm not even going to get into that labour of love disaster.

and yeah, it's NEVER going to change. i can say right now that you will never catch me in there again unless it's someone i really want to see. fuck it, i'll drive to montreal instead. even when it's rammed there, the people still have some respect for those around them.

I couldn't fathom that kind of intake either until I lived in London... I had a few friends that would get up into the 20's over a good 8 hour period. They used to pop three at a time like it was nothing... disgusting if you ask me.

the thing is tho that in england the pills are about 1/8 of pills found here. so in the 20 would equal about 3 to 4. still a lot but not as much as we are thinking.

pills in the UK are a LOT stronger than they are here; same with Ibiza. and yes, it is true that they pop massive amounts, - besides the point that they only cost somewhere b/w 1-5 quid each.

i think that it's just harder for ppl visiting to find good stuff- i mean look at the stuff that ppl buy in the clubs in TO- a lot of it is pure crap. but ppl who live hear and go out a lot know where to get better stuff so they don't waste their time and money on crap. i think it's likely the same anywhere.

from what people in the UK have told me...there is a WIDE disparity in the quality of pills...some are great, some you need 3-4 to get the same effect of a decent one here.

beats me...either way, 20-30 of virtually any pill can't be a good thing...on the very rare occassion i've done 3 in a night I've definitely regretted it afterwards...*never* again.
