CALIFORNIA SANDWHICHES!!!!
Best place ever. The one near Dundas and Ossington tho. The place is so mafia run it's scary. I used to work in the area, and me and a couple of my co-workers had a challenge. Who would hook up with the hot server so we could score free food. We all cowered out cuz we figured if we ever broke up with her our legs would end up broken.
Ohh, Apache Burgers are the freaking best burgers in the city. No one can claim otherwise. Just try getting thru one of those things without sweating grease. And their onion rings are also top-notch
I speak for dEsidEl when I say John Andersons..same kind of deal as Johnnys burgers, but on yonge, north of sheppard.
Me personally, theres this little place almost directly below me, called Chippy's. YUmmy fish and chips!!!! expensive, but well worth it!

I'm probably making this comment a little late, but for everybody posting their fave places, I'm interested in knowing what type of places they are in terms of how upscale they are (you know, casual/formal, cheap/expensive, etc.). With a burger or falafel place it's pretty obvious but with some names it's hard to tell, like all of the places that Nat and Tara mentioned (i.e. Nami, Green Mango, Kathmandu, names like that).
Any chance you folks could specify?

| Originally posted by matty Kathmandu (East Indian - Young and Wellesley) This place has amazing food, is very casual and cheap as hell, 8.99 lunch buffet Sushi on Bloor ( Bloor and Bathurst) Once again, great food, casual and cheap. They have a lunch special menu for 5.99. It does get very busy for lunch and dinner so you might have to wait a little. Juice for Life ( Vegeterian - Bloor and Bathurst, and theres one on Queen west of Bathurst) Great food if you like vegetarian, casual and cheap. I don't think the manu has anything over $10... |
Spring Rolls
Spring Rolls!!! Great fucking food... I also like Sushi Village, Rich Lee's... Pier 52... The Prince... And for a quick lunch Movenpicks
I love eating out at restaurants. It's so much fun! I love going to East Side Mario's for their salad and bread. Walter Mindz and I love going to Bobby's in Mississauga for all day breakfast...yum! I myself, love going to expensive or trendy restaurants. Bymark on Wellington St. in Toronto is a definite must go!
Sara's Shawarma - Bloor & Brunswick - $3.75 for chicken shawarma.
